Location out of the hotel was awful, difficult to get to the beach which were full of sellers and no space to rest at all. There was nothing around you. You were in the middle of nowhere!

Fabulous area in the hotel, friendly/helpful staff and delicious foods/cocktails. Rooms were tidy, huge and comfortable, the bathroom as well.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like! A little more storage in the bedrooms would have been useful - some drawers and a few more hangers.

Wow! What a find! My brother & I had a fabulous stay at the Opera Hotel, it really is an oasis - beautifully presented and very clean with a gorgeous garden landscaped around the lovely pool area. The beds were very comfortable, air con really efficient, plentiful hot water, our rooms were serviced daily plus there was a fridge & a safe. UK sockets and USB ports too. The food was absolutely amazing - breakfast was included & we ate dinner there on several nights too. The staff were wonderful - always smiling, really friendly and very helpful. We’d go back in an instant! Don’t be put off by the unmade road outside; you’re literally no more than 10 mins walk to the paradise beaches of Nungwi or Kwendra.

The property is very clean and aesthetically beautiful. Staff were kind and helpful throughout the whole stay. Family run business, the whole family took care of us even when I became unwell. Breakfast was lovely everyday even took care of my allergies when preparing.

Breakfast could be a bit more interesting, including Cappuccino/Latte. Italian owners disappointed be a bit with that instant coffee… Water bugs in the pools were slightly annoying.

Lovely place, beautiful common areas and I enjoyed specially the “quiet” second pool at the spa (away from kids and teens). Great food at restaurant. Not so far from the beach. The most comfortable beds we had at the island.

EXCEPTIONAL! A superb location, close to the beach, very clean with extremely kind and helpful staff! The hotel has a restaurant with diversified dishes, both local and European, very clean, reasonable prices, with nice and friendly staff. The owners of the hotel are a family of Italians who are very kind and willing to ensure the comfort of their guests. Ms. Antonella is a super nice person, who helped us with everything we needed during our stay: information, organizing trips, local tips, even preparing a kind of food that was not on the restaurant menu... Last,but not least, the hotel offers spa facilities, where the massage is absolutely fantastic! I would always return to Hotel Opera for an endless stay... Congratulations and to as many tourists as possible!

Everything is perfect in this hotel! We have been traveling for a long time. We've seen a lot of hotels. OPERA is the best hotel! There was always meat for breakfast: chicken, beef, sausages. Homemade jams : passion fruit, mango. This is bliss.Very clean rooms.Two swimming pools on the territory. Very beautiful gazebos. Very clean gazebos. Always hot water and light. The plumbing is new. The bed linen is new. No insects. I think the whole area is being processed. I would like to write a separate review about the kitchen. The pasta is divine. The octopus was cooked wonderfully. Serving is like in a cool restaurant.The coffee is delicious. At breakfast, the juice is natural. Pancakes, charlotte, muffins ... fruits were different and in large quantities. Cocktails are also super. Thank you, the staff and the owners of the hotel for our rest! We are absolutely delighted!

I didn’t like the WiFi, it is the worse! They need to solve this issue because it is not ok!

It is very clean, food is good there and the style is amazing, it is in a location between the two famous beach you have to walk a bit like 10 mins to arrive to Kendwa but it is ok to walk and move your body.
