The location is close to the ferry port, within the historical Stone Town, plenty of amenities. Full air-conditioned room and private bathroom. Friendly staff, full time manned reception.

The best about the property was the location. The breakfast was basic. The accommodation is fair, offers what you need for a few days.

The staff was really nice and sweet. The location is perfect, everything is in walking distance. The rooms are a bit old, but everything is working. Good place to stay in stone town.

the room is old. the bathroom is old and something is broken. the upstairs are small and sometimes it is difficult to carry on her luggage.

AC a bit noisy, but the room is cold after 10 minutes so just turn it off and the roof fan will do the job the rest of the night.

Nice hotel. Clean, nice beds. Good value for money. It's what a hotel is there for. A nice place to sleep. One of the most central places in Stone Town. Nice breakfast.

Lots of stairs to climb up to room 29. Prison vibes in the room itself according to my wife...I found it quite 'historical'...The breakfast was very poor...but for the room rate that was not unexpected. To have a hot shower you have to ask at reception to have your geyser switched on 30mins before you shower which was a bit odd, but clearly a cost-saving measure.

Very centrally located in the old city of Stone Town...It's a very budget friendly option so we had relatively low expectations which were met. Owner and family were friendly and helpful. It's extremely basic accommodation which is where it's price point is so don't expect anything else and you won't be disappointed.

Nothing, you pay what you get.

Quiet and spacious rooms. In the middle of stone town, has the basic that you need based on the price that you pay. Can't complain

The air conditioner was loud and didn’t work that well but not a huge deal as there were large fans in the room.

The location is great and the man at the front desk named Mohammed is very helpful and friendly. I stayed in the dorms and they were clean and the shower had great hot water and pressure.

The location is super central and directly in the old town and only 1 minute walk to the beach. You have restaurants right next door. The dorms are big and they have luggage storage for small money

No elevator Too many stairs

Great location. But the accommodation has no elevator. It is a hassle climbing to the top floor. However it is super clean. Very friendly receptionist & the restaurant serves delicious breakfast (i would appreciate if they put Swahili breakfast instead for authentication )

No locker, if somebody speak and make a noise out the room you hear everything and hard to sleep. The bargin person front of the entrace

This hotel in here the small alley. Little hard found. Receptionists is friendly and helpfully. The room big with shower, toilet and electric fans, and mosquito net if you want, but don't have wardrobe to clothes, plug only one per room to 6 persons. Internet some place working. Kitchen is full with a thing, but no microwave, need use oven if want cook or warm up the food. Location the best, only problem the tourist hunter people front of the door. You don't know move out without don't abused. If you want you know buy the bottle water from reception from $1 per 1,5 liter, tap water not good to drink. Cat is cute.
