Had a wonderful stay at Karibu Africa Home, the owner was very welcoming same as for the staff. Did sunset as well with Peter and that was just as incredible as the accommodation. Highly recommend for a first touch in Africa.

Karibu hostel was really nice place in Moshi and I would recommend it to everyone. Nice location, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast. You can book tours around the region at the spot as well. Hosts Peter and John were super helpful and knowledgeable and did extra mile to help with every inquiry and issue I had, so I can't recommend them enough. Thank you guys for everything.

It’s a nice big house in a quiet locality Peter and John and staffs are very friendly and they can help you with anything there are two nearby restaurants which serves. Very good food with a fair price if you are coming from Arusha you can get down in the main road to moshi before entering into moshi town and it’s 200 meters from the main road road

I went there with a friend on holiday. It is a nice house with multiple rooms that are rented out individually with a big living room where all guests can hang out. It has a really nice relaxed vibe and also feels very safe. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Peter the owner was always easily reachable via mobile if we had any questions. Johny one of the staff showed us around moshi and the market and was also always able to assist us if we had questions or wanted to do a day trip. Breakfast was made every morning by the two girls from the staff, it was very good - there was always fresh fruit and eggs. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms (we stayed in two different ones) were very comfortable.

Peter and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable while providing plenty of advice on the area and our travel plans across Tanzania. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and the hostel was well equipped with everything you need. I wouldn’t hesitate again to stay at Karibu Africa Home!

Peter is a great host, he was responsive, helpful, and goes above and beyond to meet the guest's needs! Hands down one of the best hosts I've interacted with. His staff Neema, Winnie, and John were lovely too! You can tell they all like what they do and work well together. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to tell Peter or his staff and they'll be sure to address it! The rooms are clean and well decorated. I appreciated the large & comfortable bed and high pressure hot shower. Some of the rooms are fairly new and Peter was quite receptive to feedback on how to continue meeting guests' needs. The breakfast was delicious. Karibu Africa Home is within walking distance to some good restaurants and a short boda-boda or tuk tuk ride to town. They organize activities for guests which was quite convenient for me. I did the waterfall & coffee and hot spring tours and thoroughly enjoyed them all... Moshi is beautiful!

The bathroom is very basic & the shower had no stand to hold it up. However this was fine, especially considering this place is pretty new!!

Karibu Africa was such a good place. Our host Peter was so chill & kind. He was always wanting to help us with booking activities. We had a movie night with him and a another girl & it was such a good vibe! He is very kind & social and makes you feel at home. The place is very spacious, has a big couch to chill on & big clean rooms. The breakfast was really good too! Moshi is very easily reachable with a taxi or tuktuk or even a long walk. Sadly we had to leave pretty early due to our safari, but def hope to come back!

Great location in a quiet, green, peaceful area with some good restaurants walking distance or just 5 minutes away (2000 TNS) by motorbike ride from the supermarket, ATMs and the noisy center. Nice big rooms, comfy beds, clean all around, good filling breakfast and fast WiFi. Also the ventilators are a nice touch in case it gets hot but mostly you don't need them as it cools down during the night. Peter is an amazing host, you feel like home but also helped a lot to organise things including finding the best deal to hike Kili and renting missing mountain equipment. I feel lucky to have stayed here. Would come again :) Asante Sana!

Peter is a great host, he is always keen to help and offers to show us around. E.g he helped us getting a SIM card, a bajaj and helped with the bustimes. We felt very safe and the place felt like home! On top of that there is an amazing kili view from the front garden, the rooms and sanitary are very hygienic and the breakfast is so good. The bedroom was very big and the mattress was comfortable.

We came for 2 days and we liked it so much that we stayed for almost 2 weeks at Peter’s place. The place is nicely decorated, clean, well-located and you can actually see Kilimanjaro main peak from the front yard! Our room was spacious and filled with light, also had a super comfy bed. Most of all though, we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere where everyone gets on with their day but then comes back in the evening for a nice chat in the living room. Great place for a short stop or longer stay as a digital nomad. It felt like home, everyone was so nice and we met wonderful people. My wife and I really enjoyed it and we hope to come back one day!

We stayed in this hostel one night, before starting our Kilimanjaro climbing Very good for the short stay. It is more like an apartment with a common kitchen, so you get feeling like you are home Owner was super nice and helpful. Free coffee, tea and drinking water facilities in the kitchen. Bars and restaurants around, so we had no problem to find place to eat. We didnt have time to visit Moshi, but the town is at half an hour walking distance from the hotel . I definetely reccommend, worth the money we paid.

Peter, the host of Karibu Africa Home is a very friendly guy who showed us around town and took us to some cool local places. Karibu Africa Home has a very chill vibe and you feel very relaxed just being there. The rooms are big and the beds are super comfortable. Also, the breakfast made by the dadas is amazing: a wide variety of fruits, pancakes, toast and delicious coffee (no africafe!) and tea.

The washing facilities are not the newest ones, but it is enough to get a shower and as it was clean, that‘s the most important thing.

I felt very welcome there. Peter helped me with everything like ordering food, organized a bike tour for me and all the transports. He also took me to a local bar, which was fun. Breakfast was delicious with very good coffee. The rooms are big and the bed comfy. I had a really good time there!
