Beatiful place. Quiet and away from the noisy highway. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definately stay there again.

Love love this hidden treasure in Moshi. The rooms are spotless, the food is delicious and the pool a welcome bonus. The staff were fantastic...Aggie and her team took excellent care of me and my friends. They graciously accommodated our requests and made us feel very much at home.

A bit far from the Moshi town centre but the location of this hotel is ok to join tours as the operators will usually pick you up from the hotel.

The staff are happy and helpful. It is well cared for and very clean. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is all freshly cooked and well presented. It is a calm and caring place to stay. We had a lovely visit and highly recommend it.

I will caveat this by saying that it was outside of the control of the staff, but there was a neighbour next door playing (mostly dreary or rap) music nonstop on some days; as in, they would play the same song on repeat for several hours at a time. One evening this went until about 1 am so we ended up using our earplugs to sleep.

This is a lovely little spot, outside of Moshi Town but relatively peaceful and with views of Kilimanjaro from the pool. The wifi worked well most of the time, and the service from staff was excellent as we were there during a quiet week. The breakfast and food on offer at the restaurant was good. The staff were really helpful in organising tuk tuks into town and a driver to take us to the waterfall for a reasonable price. We enjoyed being able to relax by the pool in the sun before starting our Kilimanjaro trek!

Our stay at Karanga River Lodge was really great! Spacious room with a nice bathroom and shower. The pool was really nice and every day the staff put out chairs for us by the pool so that we could sunbathe ☺️ Breakfast was soo good - especially the fruits and fresh juice 😌 We had dinner there every night and the food was always delicious. Thank you!

A/C is the missing ingredient here - otherwise, a great value place to stay.

Agnes at reception was very friendly and helpful with all requests. Great to have a pool and a nice quiet neighbourhood - 5 min tuk-tuk into centre of Moshi, also some bars on the main road you can wonder up to. Food was very good.

Could use an AC because the rooms were hot even with the fan but I didn’t mind that much Also be mindful that there is open space between the toilet door and the ceiling which makes going the bathroom uncomfortable when sharing a room

I had a great view to the Mt. Kilimanjaro from my room at this sunny day. Very friendly staff! The pool was super clean like the the rest of the hotel too. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and to sit at the bar is amazing! All together a very, very nice hotel with a high standard for a good price. Very recommended!

There was a small issue with hot water due to a delayed spare part, but we were offered a new room so all fine.

New buildings and facilities, very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially as we had a late arrival. They even opened the kitchen for us to serve a late meal!

All staff was very friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast. Nice pool area. Taxi service of the hotel was perfectly organized. Rooms are simple but nice and clean. Hot water supply cloud be improved. Reception and Security service available 24h.

Homeowner next door needs to do some cleanup, but that’s only visible if you look for it through a small metal gate.

Recently renovated property and extremely friendly staff. A perfect place to relax for a few days before heading up Kilimanjaro. I had all my meals there and enjoyed the pool and wifi. They even went out and bought a bottle of my favorite rum!

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Agnes. They organised a good trip to the falls, chagga village and coffee plantation for us. They obtained a cake for a birthday and sang happy birthday.

I have been traveling around Tanzania and this was definitely the best accommodation which I had. Very comfy and clean rooms. There is a bar and restaurant and you can order directly from the swimming pool. All staff were super nice and friendly, happy to arrange everything what I needed including taxi and tours. Agnes even accompanied me to the Safari tour which was very nice as I was a solo traveler : -)
