Bathroom needs the maintenence. Not safe electric instalation in contact with water can be dangerouse. I experienced myself electric shock there. Please be carful about this. Floor in both bedrooms needs to be repaired, very uncomfortable and rough surface can hurt you feet.

2 bedroom suite- very good location, everything is just a walking distance from the hotel. Spaciouse place, comfy sittingroom.

Some challenges in communicating with the crew at Pili pili before arriving, took some time and a few efforts to reach someone who could help out. Once we found the right person though we got the help that we needed. Also, according to our booking we were supposed to have a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, but what we got was one room with two beds and no kitchen. Wasn't a big issue in the end, but not what we thought that we had booked.

Great location in Stone Town, nice little place with just a few rooms. Clean and comfortable, nice little rooftop terrace with a view. Breakfast in the backyard was great, and the staff were helpful when we wanted to organise a day trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Not very easy stairs to climb if you have any mobility issues which was not a problem for us. Would have been good to have mosquito nets or hooks to hang our own nets.

This property was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had aircon in the main room and fans in the bedrooms. The breakfast was amazing and the whole stay was such good value for money for those on a budget. The staff were very friendly and looked after our bags while we explored the town.

Maybe aircon in the bedrooms would also help as it was extremely hot and difficult to sleep.

The breakfast seemed to be good, although we didn't get time to eat it as we were rushing to the ferry station. The location is excellent as it is right in the middle of Stonetown, which is where we wanted to be. Transport network is very good as there are taxis everywhere making it convenient to move from Stonetown to nearby places.

AC only in living room, in the bedroom it was even in side season too hot. The apartment is on higher floor without lift with narrow stairs to reach. The kitchen was far not clean. The vibes in the apartment felt strange. I would not stay again.

The security stuff was helpful and organised the check in check out. The location is great located.

There is air conditioner in the apartment but it does not make it good all the way into the bedrooms. I slept at the couch in the living room half the night until it was ok in the bedroom. An update is coming since the owner is waiting for a new one so I hope it get solved. The bed was about 180-190cm tall so it’s a bit short if you’re around 180 and up.

I chose it because you can check in 24/7. I came to the hotel at 4.30 in the night and the safety manager helped me to my place. The customer service from the manager, before arrival was great! Quick answers and always a nice tone! The bedrooms are super cute and the staff and owner was the best! The location is great!! I travelled alone but if you’re a family the price is really reasonable! I didn’t use the kitchen more than the fridge but the kitchen seemed well equipped with new machines and tools!

It’s on the street where vehicles passing by very early in the morning; if you are concerned about sleep you may not be happy with the noise.

Great location just in the middle of Stone Town. Space inside the apartment is quite good for the price, also delicate decorations and furnitures with old-time vibe.

The floor was constantly wet in the living room. The water was coming through the floor tiles from the pipe works underneath. Bad plumbing We wanted a shower after a long day out to find that the water works were turned off by onsite staff. There seems to be electrical issues in the bathroom too - we got electrocuted several times just trying to turn the nozzle of the shower.

Nothing. Plus they enter the room whenever you leave. I left twice in one day and they went in (noticeable by changes in the room) both times. Makes sense to go in once to service but why a second time. Luckily none of my things were taken. Hot water doesn’t last long. The “receptionist” never gave me back my change. Noisy inside and outside when people are talking. Didn’t receive my free breakfast the second day of my stay. The “receptionist” kept denying that my booking included breakfast when it clearly stated that it did come with breakfast on my reservation confirmation and in her system on her laptop.

No staff upon arrival, only a security guy. So, I couldn't complain because there was no water and place was extremely dirty. Only the morning after at 7:00 am, the security guard decide to switch on the water pump and we could finally flush the toilette and have a sort of shower. This place doesn't look like at the picture on the platform. I believe that a little respect for paying Clients is always due!

Dirty walls, not clean at all.The water was super hot so we couldn’t take a shower and had to go to another flat which was offered by the staff. The mattress was really unconvinient due to usage. It was bumpy and you felt you are sleeping in a hole. We booked the apartement for 1 night just to take a shower and sleep after discovered the town. None of them were fulfilled.

There were quite a few substantial issues with the apartment, even taking into consideration the good price. The beds are small and uncomfortable. They are narrow double beds, and short - my feet went over the edge. The mattresses are not comfortable, I felt the frame on one and the other was caved in the middle. The sofa bed is NOT A BED. It does not fold out or otherwise turn into a sofa bed, it is just a sofa as you see on the picture. A short person may be able to sleep on it, but I would not qualify it as a sofa bed by any means - I felt this was false advertising on the listing's part. The A/C is only in the living room. The cooling does not reach the bedrooms and these get really quite hot during warm nights despite there being fans. There are random wires and pipes exposed throughout the apartment - I appreciate this is a basic accommodation with a rustic aesthetic, but having stayed there I felt that the rustic feel was a result of wear and tear and poor construction rather than of deliberate design choice. If you are looking for something basic, cheap and cheerful in a great central location and don't mind a bit of wear, tear, and heat, this place may be for you. I will stay elsewhere on my next visit to Stone Town.

This is an apartment located very centrally in Stone Town. There are two rooms with double beds and basic amenities provided. It is offered for a very reasonable price. The host was responsive and it was easy to checkin and handover the keys.
