Superb all round Staff amazing, food good and staff went out of their way to accommodate anything for me. Great location for Moshi. Would stay here again.

The wifi did not work at all the 3 first days and worked only poorly thereafter. The rooms definately need an update! Really bad coffee - however, we god the impression that a real Barista coffee maker was underway.

Beautiful pool area and restaurant with fast serving! The garden and pool were stunning and the staff and manager were really friendly. Breakfast was ok (not the coffee though). Calm and quiet area Really nice cafe with great coffee 10 minutes walk from Ameg.

Staff at pool and restaurant were attentive but a bit pressing. We always had one guy serving us and we felt pushed on the tipping side. The last day we wanted to tip the restaurant personnel,we ask the usual guy if they shared the tip in a communal pot . His answer was yes, so I tip him more . I found that that they not share the tip and the guy lied to us. Shame that there is not a management to control this misleading information regarding tips. I left unhappy about this guy and I regretted to have left him so much tips

Down side Exchange rate offered was poor and the breakfast was below par. Oh and remote for AC did not work.

Such a beautiful location. All the staff were on hand to help with anything needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Very good price too. Would definitely come again :)

WiFi was a bit unreliable, having to enter numerous codes which was frustrating at times, but not significantly impactful on our experience

Sometimes we seem to bother the staff. Not all the equipment in the fitness room works (no treadmills was working) The price of the laundry is really excessive : 60$ for some clothes… we dont recommande to use this extra service !

The Wifi was not great most of the time, and the dinner was fairly expensive. However, there are lots of local places to eat nearby. I recommend the Kuonana and Mimosa restaurants, both within a 10 minute walk.

Our stay at the Ameg lodge was great, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfasts, as they had a large variety of food. The pool and fitness center were also great, and the property is a beautiful place to spend time. Thanks!

Nice Lodge in Moshi. The Rooms have air condition and nice beds. Also the breakfast has a lot to choose from.

A very nice and calm place. The five Villas are beautiful and its great with the seating area outside. Interior is nice, the beds are firm and the Roms are spacious. The restaurant is Well kept, with a great breakfast buffet. A supermarket is close by. The pool area is relaxing, gym facilities with everything you Can ask for. And a view of Kilimanjaro if the weather allows it. I will come back.

Not the fault of the hotel, but every day we were there, a local outdoor church had preachers BLARING live sermons through massive speakers from morning til night. These men scream into the mics (like you see in the movies when they're trying to get the devil out of somebody who's possessed). It was incredibly loud, even though the location was very far away. So, that kind of messes with the ambience as it's like you're right next to a loud concert. The food in Pepper restaurant was kind of unreliable. It's most Indian food and curries. But the first night, my partner ordered a chicken curry, and I ordered a coconut curry (which were really nice). The next night, I decided to stick with my original order from the first night and went for the coconut curry again...only I received the chicken curry that my partner had from the night before. The third day, I tried a different curry, but was served that same chicken curry again. They also messed up the Naan and Rice orders too, but the staff work hard and I didn't want to cause any issues for them. Maybe the chef just slings out a chicken curry no matter what and just hopes for the best!

Ameg lodge is a great spot, situated about 20 mins walking from the mad town of Moshi. It's off the beaten track, but really nice inside. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always with a big smile on their face and a willingness to help! The pool is really great, and if you're a gym buff, the gym is fantastic - kitted out with old school Technogym Gear and equipment. It was empty while we were there in November and had the entire place to ourselves (though, it was incredibly dusty!).
