Just perfect. The hotel with the spacious and modern rooms and stunning view from everywhere (each room, pool and restaurant) made our day. Came back to stay here after the safari again. Perfect for every stage of a vacation. Staff is well trained and meets every request.

We had a wonderful stay at Africa Safari Karatu. Everyone was very welcoming. We were greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink which was lovely. The rooms were tastefully furnished with a wonderful view from the balcony over the valley. We enjoyed a daily swim in the pool and enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant. Thank you so much. We highly recommend this accommodation and the whole team.

Access is somewhat challenging, make sure you don’t follow google maps on the last stretch and plan to approach the hotel from the main road in a four wheel drive with high ground clearance, but if you’re a white traveller in this area you’ll likely have a guide and/or a driver with just one.

The location is second to none with unbelievable views. The meals are nice and tasty, served in an open restaurant at the top. The pool is nice and clean and even if you arrive quite late you might just be granted permission to have a nice evening swim after opening hours if you ask nicely. :)

The road to africa safari karatu is very bumpy... We did it with a 2 year old... All forgotten about once we got their ofcourse.

It was night when we were reaching and the directions on google maps was not accurate. We had a bit of trouble finding it. It would be good to speak with someone in the property and get clear directions, if you plan to get there after sunset.

Very well maintained property. The rooms are large and nice with a balcony. Good views from the room. Staff were very nice and courteous.

Better in person than the pictures. This was a delight to arrive at after a long car journey. Relaxing location with a luxury touch. As someone mentioned prior... in rainy season, you need a 4x4 but worth it when you arrive.

The rooms heat up in the evening as they look into stunning sunset views. It would therefore be better if there were fans in every room on arrival. But these were offered and delivered immediately. So not a real complaint. The food was good but our two packed lunches were identical, so maybe a variation would help. But the chicken tikka and rice was good nonetheless.

Exceptional views from rooms, restaurant and pool. Very helpful, friendly staff. Location very close to Ngorongoro and Manyara. Wonderful breeze in this hilltop location. Well laid out bar and restaurant area, again with amazing views. Value for money.
