Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe pillows in the room were very uncomfortable, I had a bad neck each morning. The air conditioner worked badly and hardly cooled the room. For me it was strange that ALL notifications and communication was only in German. Yes I understand that most number of clients are German. But you still have people form other countries. Why not to translate it in English? For example the cleaning lady left us the paper with the description of Easter event and it was only in German. Very strange.
The location is perfect, first line and there is a kind of promenade along the beach. So you can walk and run everyday outside of the hotel. The promenade is around 2.5km Kids zone was very good. The food was good, I liked the variety of dishes. It was my first all inclusive experience in Turkey and I’m fully satisfied

SwedenWe were there in the beginning of january 2023 and unfortunately the indoors pool had quite cold water, even the small pool for children was too cold for our taste. our kids wanted to be in the water anyway but we couldn't stay too long in the water
we had a very good vacation, we stayed for a week. the food was very good, a lot of variety for every meal, so everyone could find something they liked. the staff was very nice and helpful. the hotel is right on the beach and it was perfect for a vacation with small children

Netherlands"During our stay at this hotel, we had a mix of experiences. On the positive side, the excellent cleaning service ensured we returned to a spotless room every day, which was a real plus. However, the entertainment offerings left much to be desired. While the two shows organized, especially the Brazilian night, were entertaining and made for enjoyable evenings, the rest of the entertainment was mediocre and quite sleep-inducing. Unfortunately, there were also some disappointments. It was noticeable that the majority of guests were German, which in itself is not a problem, but it seemed like the staff primarily spoke German, and there appeared to be preferential treatment for German guests. This was particularly evident at the bar, where we were sometimes ignored in favor of German guests. Additionally, the food left much to be desired. Breakfast lacked variety, and if you arrived later, much of it was already cleared away, leading to rushed moments, especially if returning late from an evening out. The same applied to dinner, with everything cleared away by around half past eight, leaving latecomers out of luck. Furthermore, our children were repeatedly harassed by German guests, resulting in a confrontation where the hotel failed to take appropriate action. Overall, our stay here was mixed. If you're looking for a place with excellent cleaning and occasional entertaining shows, then this might be for you. However, if you're seeking varied food options, an international atmosphere, more engaging entertainment, and effective measures against unwanted guest behavior, then I might suggest looking elsewhere."
