They didn't refill the coffee sachets and tea bags throughout our stay!!

Spacious room, helpful staff, varieties in breakfast and room service were great. Housekeeping team available day and night . Lobby area was comfy and the lake view one of the best we ever had. The hotel overall really exceeded my expectations.

However, there were some drawbacks. Despite having a spacious room (Room 223), the view was extremely disappointing. Additionally, the delay in delivering my bags, with three calls required, was inconvenient. Another issue was the lack of attention to detail, as the trash basket went uncleaned throughout the three-day stay. Addressing these concerns could significantly enhance the guest experience. There are no slippers, no robe, no shoe polish in the room. You need to request to have some brought.

Overall, my stay at Movenpick Hotel Lac Tunis had positive aspects. The location is favourable, and the staff, on the whole, was friendly. The swimming pool and spa facilities were particularly impressive

I booked this hotel for the indoor pool for my kids to enjoy on our one night stay, unfortunately the staff said that kids are only allowed in the pool in the morning, which was very disappointing as check in is at 3:00 PM and we leave the next day and the price I am paying is expensive and then you tell me we can not use the pool , and nothing about restricted pool times was mentioned on the site

could be better cleaned, especially toilet glass parts. we had one incident - cleaning lady entered in our room @ 21:00 without knocking cause she was thinking it is free- so obviously better information flow is needed..

The staff in spa told us that it closes at 9pm despite it says 10pm on the door. She then allowed us 5 minutes there whilst she went and had a shower in the spa! We asked for 3 towels for the pool but got only two. The assistant said something about housekeeping so we assumed hat she would request another towel from them but it never came. . The same happened the night before when I asked the hotel receptionist. He promised us towels but we never got ant. You would expect a 5 star hotel to have a nespresso machine in room, but there was instant coffee and 3 tea bags! The empty tea bags were left on the drinks area from the night before. The extra bed for our child was not made up for our arrival despite us not checking in until 6pm... They didn't tell us the iftar buffet would finish at a certain time. In the end, we had about an hour for the meal. Towards the end of it they were clearing up the desserts .. our daughter ate a child's portion but had to pay adult's price. They ran out of pineapple juice which was one of the choices offered to us! The waiter had to be told to wipe the table before putting table runners on... They suggested the room with a better view, although near the lift would be quiet but didn't tell us that life music was scheduled for the two nights of our stay. Apparently the aircon was not switched on as it was still their winter ( it is April, the temperature in the room was 25.6 degrees, and it is an international hotel with 5 star rating!) All in all, not very impressed, to say the least. Will definitely escalate this

Hotel has a nice swimming pool and spa. Relatively new hotel when compared with other 5 star places. The iftar buffet was really tasty and the variety was great.

Staff could have been a bit more attentive. We were three in a room and had to ask two or three times for a third towell (as the room only had two). They also only had one set of bathrobes/slippers. On the last night, the bathroom flooded and we also had to call reception a couple of times to get it fixed.

The hotel was beautiful. The pictures on booking.com were very accurately and the hotel and room looked exactly like what we were expecting.

We liked the lake location, but the hotel was not close to any tourist sites.
