Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TunisiaEverything was good
Food was great, garden is well maintained, beach is pretty and staff was friendly and inside pool was heated (we stayed in winter). Also I really liked the design, art and interior of the public spaces. Rooms were comfortable but less stylish than public areas.

GermanyUnfortunately, there's no toothpaste or iron in the room. Not a big deal, but a small suggestion for next time. I didn't like the fact that the burkini was not allowed. I'm not a hijabi, but if I want to wear one one day, I can't go there anymore. Hygiene excuses are not legitimate. In Germany, there are the biggest wellness spas in the world, and burkini is allowed there. I don't think any other hotel cares more about hygiene than this resort.
The room was perfect, we found almost everything we needed and the staff were very friendly. The buffet was varied and good. What I liked most was that there are yoga classes with a great teacher and the place where you do it is so relaxing and has a beautiful view of the beach.

United KingdomWe tried to book our inclusive 30 minute massage on the first day and were told they were fully booked until after we would have left however we had to pay for a session out of hours.
Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The all-inclusiveness was brilliant, food was varied and very good.

TunisiaHowever, there were a few things that I disliked. - The food buffet during the weekend was downgraded, and it didn't meet the standard considering the pricing. - Another disappointment was that we didn't get to benefit from the spa and the restaurants à la carte, even though they were supposed to be part of the ‘'all-inclusive package'’ from the first day of our stay until the last day. The hotel claimed they were fully booked… -Additionally, we found it unfair that we had to pay the same price for both adults and our 8-and 11 year-old kids when comparing it to other five-star hotels
Overall, it was a good experience at this hotel. I particularly liked the location and the facilities, including the outside garden, the beach, and the rooftop bars with their music (group band Friday and Saturday) and their variety of cocktails and drinks.

United KingdomThe SPA has a very poor service not at the level of the rest of the hotel which has a high quality service. I found the SPA staff very little welcoming, not presenting their services and not keen on answering our questions. It was a disappointment.
I liked the professionalism and kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. The garden around is well taken care off which was very nice to see.

SpainI find it discriminatory that still in 2023 hotels in Tunisia don't allow Burkinis and at the same time they asked us for a certificate of marriage before checking-in.
The place was spacious, it had really nice art pieces (including paintings of Zoubeir Turki). The garden was splendid and the food and drinks were really good.

GermanyThe Spa had only a hammam and sauna, they offer massage upon reservation but it was fully booked during my stay. Lack of water jet etc... i would call it wellness center not a spa. The staff were not that professional. Lack of indication on food, name, ingredients etc....
All in all it was good. Everything was clean, the all inclusive included everything from drinks, food, wellness center etc... Also got offered an upgrade upon arrival in the reception which was very good.

RussiaTo be honest, the cleanness of the facilities leaves much to be desired. For example, we were quite surprised to find a cigarette butt inside a bedside table. In the room, there're quite a lot of someone else's hairs all over the place. Furthermore, in the bar, one day they could bring you a perfectly served menthe tea, and another day - a glass of wine with 3 flies in it. :(
The personnel of the hotel was exceptional. Always a pleasure to speak to them (e.g., in English, French). The hotel design is wonderful. Food was good, drinks also fine. In October, you can easily swim in the sea here: still warm enough.

Luxembourgthe hotel’s management obviously only renovated the lobby and other common areas but obviously not the room. I had to call maintenance 3 times in the first 24 hours: the room phone had no tonality, the aircon didn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush. the staff was rather unfriendly and lacked professionalism. then we found out the staff wasn’t paid what they were promised and with zero social security so no wonder they behaved the way they did
The garden and the sea were absolutely fantastic. the food was also very good : both in quality and in variety
