Beautiful building lovingly restored, so charming with lots of plants and traditional tiles. We loved the rooftop at sunset and the hosts were so kind and gave us a lot of recommendations to make our stay in Mahdia memorable.

Very authentic building with amazing details. The rooftop was amazing and I can only imagine how cool it is hang out with a bigger group. Nejmeddine made sure that we are comfortable and happy , he welcomed us with delicious homemade cookies. I wish we could’ve stayed longer there but Mahdia and Dar Evelyne was only a one night stop on our road trip. I can only recommend this place ♥️

This place is a little gem hidden away on a narrow lane of Mahdia's old town. It's a traditional house with an open courtyard at its centre onto which all the rooms open. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the rooftops. We enjoyed the breakfast! This is a place we want to come back to.

The location is perfect. The house is beautoful and the staff working are the sweetest. Tatabu welcomed us and made as feel at home during all the stay. She made us delicious dinner and breakfast and treated us with a lot of love and care.

There was a fan in the room that had a lot of dust, might want to invest in a new one ! It was too hot not to turn the fan on but we were also allergic so had to choose between sweating or sneezing lol

It’s an old building with local cultural features however the sound proof is not working well. It’s not a big deal for us because we can still sleep even if we hear people talking outside of the room. But for people who are light sleepers it can be a little bit disturbing.

It’s a wonderful stay. It’s next to the madina of Mahdia which is the city center basically. We have a car so it’s very easy to go anywhere we want, beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Dar Evelyne gave us an authentic experience where we meet local people and other guests. It has an amazing terrace where we had breakfast every morning. The view is gorgeous and with breeze it’s the perfect spot to chill out.

This Dar is a delight in every way. The cool Tunisian vibe with a modern twist. Great artwork from local artists. Nesh was a warm, genuine host, helpful and professional. His sister provided a great breakfast. This wee gem of a place is run by people who clearly care!

A quality abode in a quiet part of town. The house is simply beautiful with an authentic character. Courtyard homes are a treasure. The host is very hospitable and can help you as needed. The house is located out on the peninsula away from the medina, but within the old town. There are restaurants within easy walking distance. The host also runs a diving company if you feel like getting wet.
