It is not a massive hotel but an intimate guest house- this is not bad but it's just one house in the Medina.

Real authentic experience, just next to the Grande Mosque right in the Medina. You live like a Bay or Sultan there.

Be careful with the parking, as it is narrow access, so if you go with a big/long car better to park outside.

Everything! The location is really quiet but at the same time central, rooms are really cozy and comfortable, staff is super friendly. I strongly recomend the Hammam, as the man who performs it is really professional and attentive. Breakfast is also great

The location was very good (5 minutes from the Great Mosque). A quiet and authentic place (a house that combines tradition with modernity). The breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool is also a plus. The accommodation also has indoor parking. It also has a roof terrace and a hammam, but we didn't have time to use it. The hosts were very welcoming and we thank them very much for everything!

Extraordinary beautiful Dar, very quiet place to relax, the rooms are beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, we had breakfast and dinner, which was both outstanding and enjoyed the sunset on the rooftop. Landlady and staff are so welcoming and supportive, make you feel like home! We’ll be back soon!

amazing historical hotel in the heart of Kairouan with excellent hosts. The room was large, beautiful and spotless. We also had a great experience using their Haman. Its a historical building recently renovated. I highly recommend staying here.

We liked everything about the hotel. The only thing that kind of broke the fantastic experience is some people in the Medina who was trying to make us go inside their shops and really bothering. Without that the whole experience would be much more than great.

Being there is like traveling in time! Is an amazing place and enjoyable in every corner of the entire place. The women who checked us in was great. There is not a single complaint about this place. All was great. Just to be there kind of close the mosque and the Medina in a very quiet area.

This historic traditional Kairouan building brims with thought, class, and care. Combining modern day comforts like up to date bathrooms and good wifi along with old world charms like a hearty breakfast, and gorgeous terrace. It feels like a respite from the hustle and bustle of life. It is located very close to the mosque and a few minutes from the Souks.

It is a special experience to stay in this beautifully renovated Dar hotel in Kairouan. We had two bedrooms that were decorated in a warm and traditional style with exquisite tile work. The rooms overlooked the central courtyard, which had a glass ceiling to keep the hotel at a comfortable temperature. The hostess was very kind and helped us to make reservations at an excellent local restaurant and waited up for us to return. I had informed her that my daugher has a gluten allergy prior to our arrival and she actually baked a very lovely gluten free cake for breakfast in the morning. The hotel is just minutes from the Kairouan medina so is very centrally located.

Absolutely Nothing.

The kindest and most welcoming owners and staff. i had the pleasure of talking with the owners throughout my stay and it enriched my experience staying here. The location is fantastic within the Madina, close the the Great Mosque, yet close the outer town; hence easy access to cars if/when needed. The house is breathtaking, clean, with a small library and valuable old manuscripts handing on the walls around the house. The classical music playing on the background created a charming ambience. will definitely stay here again.
