Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaA/C temperature control had lowest setting of only 20C, room therefore got quite warm on 3rd night (it was raining and overcast the first 2 nights) and would be unbearable in summer. Opened window, but had to close it shortly after because of mosquitoes and loud noise from HVAC system in back of hotel.
Breakfast was OK. Staff very friendly and told me about "BOLT" app (like UBER, but only works with cash) for super cheap taxi rides. Wish I had known about it before getting ripped off by taxi driver at TUN airport. Ride should be about 10-15 Tunisian dinars and take about 15 minutes.

Friendly and helpful staff, good shower in room, good breakfast. The hotel is a twin with the adjoining Tulip Hotel which has a good restaurant.

Egypt-Tried to update my booking but it wasn’t poss They said it needs to be done on booking.com and I sent a message with no reply. I had to pay for a double room while I stayed alone as I wasn’t able to update it. -Away from the good attractions: sidi bouseid, for me it was overpriced given that. -The floor was not clean, the soap smiled bad

BelgiumSome towels are worn out and it looks like it's time to do renovation in bathrooms. Also the bedsheet in our room was too small for the size of the double bed.
Good value for money. The rooms are big, no issues with shower/hot water. Breakfast was included in our rate, that was also a nice touch. The breakfast is simple, but it is nice that you can get a freshly made omelet.

Our room was a good size. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely hamman and scrub at the spa, and it was priced very reasonably.

NetherlandsThe traffic, as everywhere in Tunisia, is hectic and chaotic. Be careful at the nearby Bab Saadoun roundabout or the police will check you out.
Modern hotel with good facilities. The breakfast is basic but more than sufficient. The guarded parking is fine. The medina is about a 15 minute walk away.

CyprusNot much they can do about it, but parking is very tricky in the area, and their own parking is pretty much always full to the brim. Still , a solution was always found to accomodate.
The stay was great and beyond expectation for such good value. The facilities available are really good and beyond the usual for a 3 star hotel. Staff was nice and helpful as well, and they allowed to check in and out at midnight, so kudos for that!

GreeceThe towels were dirty the first day and the rooms had a smell of smoke and humidity. Also during the check out the employee informed us that we had to pay an extra tax for our accommodation there. Even if we had paid the first day all the amount and we had received the receipt. At last this was a system failure and they charged us more.
Really nice breakfast. The location is close to the airport. And only 10 min by car from the city centre.
