BelgiumDon't expect high luxury, the rooms are basic and there is no TV. The shower was integral part of the bathroom, which meant if you showered, the toilet and all of the bathroom floor did too. But to be honest: Those were not things that bothered us at all, because it added to the charm of the bamboo huts. There was one thing that did bother me, certainly because I became aware of it, only on the worst possible timing: We were offered to charge everything to the room during our stay, which we considered a nice option, because then we could pay all at once by card, right? Not right. At our carefully timed checkout: Thai QR (I'm foreigner, I can't have that) or Cash. Which meant that I had to go find a working ARTM instead of starting the drive back to BKK Airport. I lost almost 1hr and ended up right in rush hour, which I would have evaded otherwise. In my opinion, I should be able to pay by card when I stay in a hotel or resort. It's not the biggest deal, but I would have loved to be made aware from the beginning and not on the very last moment.
The property is literally on the beach, you walk out in the morning and in 2minutes you could be in the water. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, the cocktails great and the beers cool. There is a really nice atmosphere and it's not the type of property that would attract rowdy people. If you want a real getaway and relax, this is the place to be.

it was definately a hidden gem everything was amazing , the staff were so welcoming and accomodation perfect food was extremely good and plenty of choice

AustraliaWe have no complaints about Margarita Beach. At all. But a gentle warning - Khanom is a small town, and travelers should be aware before visiting that taxis/ tuk tuks aren't easily available, so if you plan to get around Khanom you best be comfortable on a scooter.
First time to Khanom Beach? Get ready to properly relax. You'll have no other choice. We came for 3 nights and wish we had longer. The shacks at Margarita Beach are simple, comfortable, but also air-conned. The food is exceptional! Outside of the Thai food staples, the Pad Krapow Tacos were a fave! The local staff and owners, Dan and Nina, were very friendly and inclusive. Being a small town and not as "touristy" as the islands, you'll feel like part of their community very quickly.

RussiaThe storm has brought many plastic waste on the beach. That was cleaned later in the hotel premises but still not nice to observe that in the adjacent territories. Not the fault of the hotel but still problem of the location. Be ready to meet some insects in your shack.
the place is the best in the area, and well known and popular for the bar and restaurant. Many people go visit it from outside, far more than the guests of the hotel. The cuisine is indeed very good and offers nice variety. We enjoyed the tuna steak for dinner. Breakfast is a la carte, and one can choose from a list. Given the popularity and service level, the meals are not cheap compared to other places. The shacks are just 50m from the sea 20m from the beach, and the in hotel logistics room-beach-restaurant is just few steps distance which is comfortable.

We had an excellent stay!! Friendly and helpful owner and staff. The whole place has a great "beach vibe". The cottages are shacks and comfortable and clean at the same time. You can rent kayaks, SUPs, bodyboards. Food and cocktails at the restaurant are very good. Highly recommended.

United StatesThe room when I booked it said ocean front. There are no ocean front rooms because they sit back behind the restaurant and bar. That should be changed on the room description. The bed was very hard and seemed to be just a thin topper on box springs The water in the shower did get warm, but not hot
The property has a really relaxed atmosphere and vibe and we really enjoyed it. The beach is very beautiful, the property well maintained and the staff go above and beyond to make sure that you have a wonderful time.
