there were monkeys playing and throwing cocos on our roof all night few people started to play a game near the pool at 3am, there were ladies screaming out loud and nobody from the property came out to ask them to be more quiet. there is a fish tank with some fishes inside,the water is very dirty and muddy, not sure why they are keeping it like that.

It was okay just for one night. it’s low season now and many properties are going under refurbishment and so many others are closed, not much vibe around

I really recommend Exotic Bungalows, where I spent 10 days in comfort. The room is equipped with everything you need, the bed is very comfortable and perfectly cleaned. The staff is kind and always ready to help. Definitely going to come back.

Lovely bungalows in a shaded area behind the road (so very cool in the daytime) run by a lovely Aussie Bloke, Raymond, who made sure our stay was comfortable and made recommendations for activities/things to do on the island. Well maintained swimming pool and a bar at the entrance!

We arrived to what looks like an abandoned hotel and checked into our room which had a foul almost unbearable smell and the whole place looked nothing like the pictures! Swimming pool is tiny and not really in use/ not a nice place to chill around. Owner is very strange and made us feel so uncomfortable we ended up leaving and paying £2 more to be in the next village in a lovely bungalow and relaxing pool space. Have been travelling south east Asia for 1 year and this is the worst place we have stayed by a mile. Pay a little more for your stay on this island - trust me, it’s worth it.

it was comfortable enough and for the price we couldn’t complain, the place has potential but is definitely a catfish on the pictures. the pool was full but probably not usable.

Was very cheap but we can now see why, it was pretty much abandoned with one guy living in one bungalow, the rest were all pretty much destroyed other than the one we stayed in.

•the hotel as a whole is in need of upgrading and maintenance •there were mosquitoes entering my room and I had no mosquito net for protection •the room was clean but has areas where it needs a deep clean •no hot water • pool was kind of dirty • the condition of the hotel does not live up to the standards of how it is presented online

The bed was super comfortable and the room is very clean. Great value for money. The staff is very helpful. The location is great and I would definitely stay here again.

Room dirty - masonary dust on shelving, bed linen/pillow cases smelled and looked unclean. Contrary to what was advertised: no kettle, no fridge, no TV at all, wi-fi very variable, water - Luke warm at best; shower hanging off wall by electric cable, and once ran out of water mid shower; beach actually 10-15 minute walk: pool needed maintenance: “soundproof rooms” not at all - regular sound of coconuts bouncing off roof before hitting ground; AC smelled, needs a clean; no bedside light.

Extremely disappointing even for the price. I was trying to save on accommodation costs and wish I hadn’t skimped. Ended up moving to a better beach resort which was only £10 more a night and another level. The whole place needs renovating. It is tired, dirty and unacceptable. I had bugs and cobwebs in my bathroom and a rodent in the roof scratching and biting at the ceiling too. I physically saw the rat in a hole in the roof the day I was checking out!!! It needs addressing urgently and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Bedding is old and tired as is everything else. Rusty furniture, no restaurant in site and pool is dirty so I don’t know anyone that would swim in it. Other bungalows next to mine were completely derelict so no wonder there’s rodents running around. My room overlooked a filthy and empty fish tank covered in mould. Owner showed me to the room but didn’t explain how to make the hot water work so on day 2 I asked and he showed me but cold shower on first day. Room lock was dodgy and almost got locked in the room and struggled to lock it from the outside too. Overall highly unacceptable even for £14 a night! I’ve stayed in better hostels for less!

The only positive about this accommodation is the central location and it is walking distance to restaurants and bars in lonely beach. Bed was pretty comfy and the a/c works fine.
