Apart from the Beach front apartment vs sea view apartment expectation, all was good!

Just a general rule of thumb. Beach front apartment vs sea view apartment are two very different things. With a beach front apartment, you many not necessarily see the 'sea' (but the apartment can be located in a better place than other apartments). But all in all, I loved my stay of 5 nights. Did a lot of scootering and snorkeling. The good snorkeling beaches are a few minutes drive away. Breakfast was lovely!

It was quite the hike up to our room and the room was quite basic

I don't leave reviews often but in this case I have to. The staff at this resort is just phenomenal. They sort everything out for you, arrange everything you need effortlessly. The location is amazing, a bit secluded but therefore very calm. Amazing snorkeling! My stay has been so idyllic. Going to breakfast with a perfect view of the bay every morning, followed by diving lessons at CV diving and exploring the island in the afternoon. Perfect!

This is a 3 star hotel on a 5 star private beach with great snorkeling. We truly enjoyed ourselves for a couple days here. We scootered around to various restuarants. Great place to relax.

Breakfast was awful, when you arrived late there was nothing left. Staff at the pub not attentive at all. My apartment was really outdated but when you stay in the location like that you don’t really care.

Location!!!! Absolutely fabulous location, snorkelling was amazing, I didn’t have to fight for the sunbed. The hotel had lovely bar with great view. Just to make you aware that the road to the hotel is incredibly steep so if you feel comfortable riding bike go for it as taxi from and to the centre are THB400 each way.

If staying in one of the tree bungalows, one have to be prepared for all the noises and night active animals in the trees.

The resort is located on a small bay with view to the shark island, a famous diving spot. This private beach was perfect for snorkeling. Next to coffee, tea, juices and fresh cold water, the breakfast buffet always offered fresh fruits, eggs custom prepared for each guest and also warm dishes like chicken curry with rice. The restaurant down at the beach offered local dishes but also fish & chips, which me and my kids highly recommend. It was a great stay away from the tourist masses, more quiet and private. Exactly what we were looking for.

There wasn’t a little convenient store to buy sunscreen or personal goods, just limited to what the resort had. That would’ve been a big plus.

Just the hill getting to and from it is a bit hair raising so be prepared. I wouldn’t recommend going there if you are wanting to see the town a lot, but for a peaceful break away this is perfect.

Location was incredible as was the snorkelling. The rooms are comfortable and air on works well. The road to get there is extremely steep so I would recommend motorbikes and only one person on each bike. But it’s worth it to arrive at such a beautiful beach.

The diving place in the beach. The english speaking man was quite rude and did not care about the place or the customers. Also the rooms could go through maintenance soon as they felt a bit moist and kind of old vibe to the furniture. Very small bathroom. The safebox was broken and we had to carry a key with us to use it.

We decided to walk there from the port. It was a quite a challenging walk with a backpack, heat and sun but doable. The location was good if you want to be in the middle of nowhere and just enjoy peace. The surrounding nature was beautiful with cliffs, and mountains. The view just before going down to the hotel was amazing. Even though it is ''far'' from surround things that was not an issue for us. We walked to the city a couple of times and used the hotel shuttle car too. The car was super easy to book and the guy driving it was very polite and nice. The hotel area and facilites looked amazing. The rooms were nothing special, rather old and basic, but it was so beautiful outside that being in the room was mostly just for sleeping. The staff was great!! Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Smiling all the time, helping you with whatever you needed. Breakfast was also good, nothing huge but a good selection of everything and even an egg station where you could order eggs of your preference. Coffee was good and strong. The beach was very nice, but it would be good to have swimming shoes with you since the bottom is mostly small little rocks. When we were there the beach had quite big waves and it threw us to some ''hidden'' bigger rocks and corals in the water, so something to be aware of. The food in the beach restaurant was super great so definitely recommend to have your meals there. The restaurant next door was not that great tho and quite expensive so id avoid that. We also attended a cooking class that was advertised in the hotel reception. 100% worth it! Super cheap, the hotel car took you there and back, we got to learn how to cook our favourite thai dishes and later on eat them. There was also a hotel dog, who was super cute and brought joy for all the guests. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Nothing bad, but for us WiFi is important. It wasn’t really available in our room. It’s a little bit out of the way, which was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet retreat. This might not be suitable for everyone, though. We rented a scooter, but be prepared for a hair-raisingly steep incline.

This really is paradise. We loved our time here so much. The restaurant attached serves delicious smoothies and meals which we made full use of during our stay. The dive centre is literally right on the beach, so we could book and leave for our dives directly from the hotel. There’s also incredible snorkeling and the hotel provides all the gear you need. The beach is basically private, so it is always pretty calm. We also made use of the massages which are on the beach as well. Everything is booked and paid through the hotel.

The way down is very steep, be careful if arriving on a Scooter :)

This resort blew us away. It was everything and we more had hoped for at an unbeatable price. The resort is small and cozy, tucked away in a little but gorgeous bay away from the party noise at Sairee beach. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The dining restaurant right at the beach was amazing with a little terrace with seat pads that allowed you dine right above the waves rolling onto the beach. Breakfast buffet was included and very good; the a-la-carte dinner was delicious. There is a high chance we will come back.

The rooms were the only disappointment very out dated and small, lots of mosquitoes in the room, although kept very clean with house keeping every day.

Slightly out of the way, despite being a short walk from the centre on google maps, it is tucked away with a lot of hills and through dark & unlit areas which makes it impossible and unsafe to walk to the centre. Would recommend renting a motorbike if you was to stay here. The breakfast was disappointing to say the least, we went on our first morning and wondered why no one else was there until we looked at the selection of uncovered fruit which had flies fleeing around, bread, butter that also had flies around and a very small selection of cereal.

Gorgeous setting, beautiful beach front and lovely green area surrounding. The hut we stayed in was basic but had everything we needed for our few days there. The staff were friendly and dealt with our problems (of washing being shrunk) well. The hotel provides a shuttle a couple of times a day to the main area.
