The staff are really nice. The hostel is next to the city center with the cathedral, bars, resturants and grocery stores. There is a good kitchen for cooking and it's a decently social hostel with people lounging around the main area. They have an arepa making class Mondays or tuesday nights? Good way to meet people. I got the private room and it was very spacious. Quiet at night and very safe. I would recommend staying here if you can .

Great cosy family run hostel, which felt like home. Great facilities, hot water, fans and 2 cute cats and a dog. Lovely free coffee in the morning and a really relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend it when visiting Santa Ana :)

Nothing, this is a great little hostel.

This is a small hostel located 3 blocks off the main square with a small pool in the back yard that is perfect for a dip on the hot days. Loads of useful information provided on notice boards and the owners are always on hand to answer questions and help out. Great value and always clean and hot showers.

One improvement I would’ve made is a bigger fan to the dorm room as it was quite warm in the dorm. However, I saw that they were installing that bigger fan the day I checked out!

Extremely good value for money and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen facilities were also great and a nice indoor and outdoor relaxing area. The hosts were also extremely kind and knowledgable about the area.

-The kitten constantly on the dining table and trying to - literally - get on your plate while eating (sounds maybe funny, but it was really annoying and unhygienic) -Showers were too cold for me -Bunkbed was rickety and very wobbly (downbed was doable but upperbed was really shaky). They were starting renovating the place when I left, so maybe they will also replace the beds?

-6 bed dorm spacious enough -No socket next to every bed, but there were some sockets in the room -Lockers for valuables outside the dorm -Ensuite bathroom in the dorm with toilet + cold shower +another bathroom outside the dorm (also with cold shower) -WiFi worked well (also in the dorm) -Good location: Main Plaza, restaurants, shops and supermarket all within walking distance -You’ll receive a frontdoor key, so you can come and go when you want -Nice rooftop area -Free drinking water+coffee in the morning -Friendly+helpful staff

In the hostel I had everything what I needed. Stuff and the owner are extremely helpful and are so kind. There's hot water, good quality toiletries, breakfast for a request, fans to cool down and get rid of mosquitos, lots of fun activities, such as making pupusas, cool common area, lots of information about the buses, the nearest shops, etc, lovely cats and a dog, drinkable water, fully equipped kitchen. Nothing but to recommend!

The location of the hostel had recently changed so the shuttle bus driver tried to drop me at their old address. I persuaded him to take me to the new address, but we were both perplexed as there was no sign. Google maps was correct but it's difficult to tell it's a hostel from the outside.

Excellent location, close to the main square and a good supermarket. Friendly staff and a nice vibe.
