Hosts are very helpful (they speak fluent Italian) and have set up a nice place in La Somone. Beach is 10 minutes walking distance and personally I prefer that it's not where the resorts are. Conditions were good, even if the host said it was the most modest room. Mosquito net in the bed, which is always a plus in tropical climate spots. I only stayed one night.

I didn't mind personally, but there's a cage with some geese just outside my ground-floor room. It should also be mentioned that the lodging is a 15-minute walk on an unpaved, sandy road to the main street and perhaps a 30-minute walk to the beach.

My stay at Keur Manga was very good. I had the most economical room with a private bath on the ground floor outside the main building. This meant no access to the internet (or it wasn't offered, I don't know which), but as I had a local SIM card, this wasn't a problem. There was no hot water in my shower, fine by me as the weather is already warm in early March. I was allowed early check-in and could enjoy a swim in the pool after arrival. The outdoor area is very spacious with trees, bushes, and a sunny area for wet bathing suits and beach towels. It is very safe with a locked exterior door. Somone is an established old city with a beautiful beach, and Keur Manga is one of very few inexpensive lodgings.

My stay from September 11 to 12 was one of the best of my vacation a professional manager the quality ratio was there the cleanliness of the premises 5/5 A friendly family, a green space (far from chemical and noise pollution), I visited Italy while being in Senegal... frankly with the grace of God my December vacation I will return

It’s very basic - you get what you pay for just be aware. There was no running water for the shower, had to ask for toilet paper, electricity went out but was fixed within 30 minutes or so. Kinda far from town (15min walk just to the main road where you can get a shared taxi to the lagoon). If you’re on a budget like us — still worth the stay! The staff being friendly was very nice just be prepared for what you get :)

I assume they were not prepared for my arrival as there was no toilet paper or towels in the room. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned for a long time as there were a lot of dead ants in the bathroom. Everything in the room was very old. This room was not in the photos provided on the bookings. Plus, to leave the hotel, there is no option to order a taxi through the app or catch a car on the street, it is very inconvenient. But the landlady was very kind and helped to leave for the airport, thank you very much for that.

My booking confirmation was not readily available to the owner of the property. I had to change the language of my booking app and explain it to the people since the communication with booking.com was managed from another person who wasn‘t present. I guess, it would make it easier if the booking could be paid by card directly on the app instead of giving cash

It‘s well located in between Ngparaou & Somone and close to the beach.

no COLD water, cannot use the swimming pool as it is dirty, they gave us the wrong room - we had to change

The door of the apartment was open when I arrived and I think it made it possible for mosquitoes to get into the room. There was no Insecticide to flirt the room and I was not happy. The host did not help matters in this case. Overall I liked the breakfast and the Internet connection.

The breakfast was very fine; but the location of the Apartment made it difficult in accessing taxis while going out for meeting and returning from the meeting location.

It is a residential house with many rooms and apartments/studios. In our studio, the window of the bedroom did not have a curtain even though it was connected to an area with traffic from others occupants. Also, the corners of the property seems to not be looking after regularly.

The host is super friendly and the security around the property seems to be fine.
