Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeI booked a sunny balcony room, but was "upgraded" to a suite. I had intentionally not booked this because it looked dim and dark, and it was. The front room I had actually booked is large and bright, but does have more traffic noise. Internet in my dark suite was spotty. Breakfast was average at best with food not being replenished and restaurant service lackadaisical.
The Airport transfer and assistance from the driver Kader was excellent. This was a last minute booking to obtain a Liberia visa and my goal was met. The hotel is an oasis in a rather scruffy exurb "convenient" to the distant airport and various parts of Dakar. Better for business and budget than for "leisure".

EgyptAlmost nothing. Maybe if they have a small pool for relaxation it would be nice but overall the experience with them was great.
The breakfast was so good and has many varieties of items, the staff were helpful as well. The location was good on the high way in VDN. The room was very clean. They have a restaurant serving local and Western food as well. They upgraded us from a standard room to a suite.

At first stay, room with balcony too expensive, second stay without balcony was much cheaper Horrible , grim and depressing area along a highway , not .mant restaurant options nearby. Taxi ride to/from city (port , Indepenance Place can take up to 1 hour.
I stayed here 2 times. 1st visit poor, second much better. First visit I give "5", second a "9" , so its "7" as average. South AfricaHonestly no reason to complain. The hotel is clean, functional and fairly well positioned. It is located on a motorway which I hadn't expected but there was almost no noise and was quite quaint.
The staff were amazing and took really good care of me while I was there. I got sick on my first day and they were very kind. I caught a taxi from one side of Dakar to the hotel and the hotel staff kept in touch throughout the hour journey just to check that I was alright.
