A nice "resort"-like place in a quiet neighborhood. Nice pool and outdoor breakfast. I'd stay again.

The hotel is somewhat distant from the principal tourist sights of Dakar: mosques, memorials, museums, monuments, and the Goree ferry. But nothing is very far if you're willing take a taxi or even the DDD public bus system (either the No. 10 or 18 bus, which are AC'ed and nice).

The hotel struck me as somewhat like a "resort:" It has a pool with lounge chairs, a outdoor breakfast area with plants and plenty of sun. A nice restaurant is above on the rooftop. It was very relaxed and a pleasant break from the dust and noise of te city outside the hotel walls. The neighborhood seems good - with a private security guard 10 meters from the hotel gate, nice cars on the street, and good restaurants and markets nearby. It was exactly what I was looking for. Access from the center via the No. 10 public bus along the Corniche is easy.

the rooms and sheets could have been cleaner

I felt so comfortable and peaceful int he courtyard. Breakfast was pretty good, a selection of two cereals, some tomato salad, various eggs, tea, coffee, chocolate milk/hot chocolate, pancakes or brownies/cake (depending on the day), baguette, cream cheese, butter, juice. Pool was nice, great restaurant upstairs. Drinking water wasn't included.

Can be a little noisy due to the courtyard design but generally a good sleep

Comfortable clean spacious room with a good shower. Effective air conditioning (a little noisy). Rooftop bar / restaurant, though there are also a number of restaurants locally with more Senegalese dishes Friendly breakfast staff. Breakfast is fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs and yoghurt with fruit juice and tea/coffee Dakar sights are quite spread out, Casa Mara is accessible for all the key sights either by taxi or long walks (we chose the latter but it is tiring with dusty roads) Local shop for water directly opposite the property, for a wider choice there’s also two Auchan supermarkets in walking distance.

Bit tricky to find in the dark as not obviously lit up from outside. It is in correct location on Google maps though. Our room door didn’t lock and there was no one available who could give us access to the safe for our valuables. There were clearly marked vegetarian options in the restaurant but nothing explicitly vegan. Cost of the restaurant meals was expensive for what we got.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast in relaxed courtyard. Atmospheric rooftop bar and restaurant.

The rooms, and especially bathrooms are basic. However still comfortable and great value for money.

The lovely inner courtyard is great for both working and relaxing and it stays cool even on a very hot day. The rooftop terrace is a delight. The staff is lovely, welcoming and very helpful about anything you may need. It’s very safe. The AC and wifi worked really well (the latter is not easy to find in Dakar).

The breakfast was underwhelming (but not at all bad).

The atmosphere, the accommodation, the comfortable bed and pillows, the space, the relative quiet, the lovely staff. All in all a great vibe.

i didn’t like the fact that they came into the room everyday to “make the bed”. A big issue for me was the mosquitoe net, it feel on us twice when we was sleeping.. (picture included). I was grateful that they brought new towels everyday but they could’ve given the option. Also this place is in desperate need of a good polish .. new paint new shower heads , if they polish the place it’d be PERFECT place .

i love the decor of this property, it was very nice & welcoming. the staff was super nice & helpful. One guy even walked us to a near by restaurant we wanted to try it was AMAZING

I thought they could have done better with bed sheets, especially the bottom one, by ensuring they cover top to bottom properly. Mine were sometimes going three-quarter way reducing my comfort when i went to sleep.

At the moment of my trip the hotel only accepted cash payments, because the card machine was broken. Hoping to be able to pay by card by next visit, since large cash withdrawals come with additional charges and complications.

Peaceful location, nice rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant on location. The rooms opening to the terrace gave the place a very cozy and nice atmosphere. No complaints, definitely a location I'll return to in my next visits.

Staff seemed lazy to do anything, especially their local knowledge and recommendations were useless. Restaurant is okay, but overpriced, and check what you get, as i ordered a meal of the day with meat and got no meat, only potatoes, nothing else inside the soup. There are better eating options outside, as well as better priced drinks. For the money, i expected more.

Clean. Decent bar/restaurant. Room was big and shower was hot. Good internet.

The main thing I didn't like was the cost of the room for what you get. The room was extremely basic, almost like village living. One of the overhead lights didn't work, the air-conditioner wasn't producing a lot of cold air. The overhead ceiling was filthy and rickety. The breakfast was ok but I would have expected more variety. If you got there an hour after the breakfast started, all hot items would be cold and not reheated for the customer. The lock on the front door of my room didn't work so the next day someone had to change it. For paying such a high price for the room, I would have expected more. The room was probably worth more like 25,000 cfa per night.

This accommodation was very simple and basic. The courtyard was nice to sit in and the restaurant above the hotel was pleasant. The food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were a couple staff who spoke English which was beneficial for me. They had three sweet dogs that roamed the property. If you like dogs, that's a plus. The location was good in terms of restaurants and a grocery store being within walking distance.

I never liked the fact that she chose to place White Images of unscrupulous White Men on the inside of the hotel and displaying their authority and on the outside of the hotel placed poor African images their. That lacked taste knowing the strong African legacy.African Images should be on the inside of the hotel and they should be as prominent as those White images that she has.My group was left with a very bitter taste in their mouth knowing that this lady is pushing the same poor narrative about Africa, but yet uses 100%African staff. Very strange to me!!!

I like the lay out of the hotel and the staff were friendly
