very beautiful little place, fully secure and everything you want for a cheaper accommodation. Staff are so kind and friendly and take care of what you need. amazing and beautiful garden/ eating area with a bar also and they have just built a little pool also which is lovely too.

I liked the staff and the fact being near the beach.

I liked the feeling of a home away from home. The environment has a homely feeling with staff who makes one very comfortable. The Wifi is the only one with a problem especially in the morning and evening. At night it is very okey. When I travel back to Sally, this is the place to stay. I already miss to stay there again and again.

The door to the bathroom didn't close and the room was quite smelly. There was a big rooster that attacked my wife and we were afraid it would attack our baby who was walking around. The wifi was not good and very spotty. It looks like they are making it better.

Very nice staff and beautiful little garden. Sometimes hot water. Close to the main areas but farther away for better value. It had a small terrace room.

No screens so couldn't open window for ventilation without letting bugs in. Room is dark, bed is small. Not deal breakers for a room at this price, but things to be aware of.

The dining patio is great and comfortable. The owner is a wonderful driver and helper at the various tour sights. The staff is awesome.

It’s a well kept facility- the manager and staff were exceedingly attentive to my needs. I’ll certainly come back the next I’m in Senegal.

Mame was an excellent host and so kind and attentive. I felt so at home there. The terranga (hospitality) was exceptional and the room was nice and big. I really enjoyed the outside courtyard as well. Breakfast wasn't included but it's worth it for a nice simple, easy meal! Dinners were delicious as well. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach (depending on how many people you say hi to along the way)

The whole hotel is really dirty from the tablecloths to our room. The room has mould everywhere & the windows do not open. The sheets still smelled of the last guests and the worn out towel was filthy. We came late & it was the last room so no chance to change. We were exhausted after a long trip and the hotel a long way from the town centre so we stayed. I woke up with a headache from the mould. We changed to another room which was slightly cleaner but no mould. The place is sweet but old and run down. The owner & the staff are very accommodating and kind BUT they need to CLEAN and not just a quick sweep after each guest. My husband is Senegalese so we are in Senegal often traveling around. This is by far the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. I hope the owner uses this review as a message to clean up his nice place.

The staff The Resturant/food - best I’ve had in Senegal and a bargain for the price. Merci the chef and the other cooks are serving up some seriously good food The breakfasts included with the price The fridge - which we didn’t get in more expensive properties The kindness to the kids from the community The wonderful jungle garden

Excellent. I did stay 10 days . Very warm and nice owner . Best staff ever . Place is great , surrounded by banana trees . Very quiet and 5 min from the beach . Room was big and clean . Mine had a little office / workspace . Not many mosquitoes, or very little . Just bring mosquitoes repellent . 3 km from Saly, taxi to center 1000 XOF . Cheapest room on booking.com

The owner and his staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very spacious and clean. The property is well cared for and a great bargain for the price.

We loved every minute of our stay , a big thank you to everyone at Auberge Africa Thiossane for making our stay there so enjoyable . The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the garden area is beautiful . A lovely breakfast is served every morning in the outside dining area , meals are also available, we had monkfish skewers, they were delicious and very reasonably priced ( around £5 each ) . It is a short walk to the beach, with a few beach restaurants serving food and drinks , we ate at Boud Ficel, great food . A walk up the main road towards route de Saly ,( Piste des Charentes) is an enjoyable experience, lots to see, several small bars , chez Agnes was our bar of choice , great little bar to sit outside of and to watch the comings and goings , also plenty of small street food vendors selling delicious food .
