The staff was really polite and very kind, the room was very clean and very well equipped, the bed was big and comfy and the heating was great. San Marino is an amazing place, and if you visit the city, you have to stay in the hotel La Rocca!

The “blanket” was too thin and not warm enough for early spring even with the heating on. I had to turn the heating to 5 and try to keep myself warm with the extra set of towels. Entrance and reception of the hotel could be indicated more clearly. The street was generally quiet after 10 pm but before 10 there could be some noisy teens around so light or early sleepers be aware of this.

Very nice location and super friendly and great staff. Around ten minutes away from the bus that brings you from/to Rimini. Two minutes away from the first tower. The price was really super for a night stay! The hotel gave 10% discount to me for restaurant meals and the food was awesome! Flexible with check in and out procedures (was able to get my room before 2 pm even without a request). The room had sufficient towels and amenities for a short stay I would say. Very good hair dryer as well!!!

I think the only actual issue were the sounds from the street, many visitors pass from this area, and also from the hotel internally (not sound proof). I suggest you get some ear plugs. Some improvements in the room would be nice, especially to the doors, handles, locks. The reception is downstairs inside the restaurant, not very convenient to access also while carrying the suitcases. Parking P6 and P7 may be really close but they are always full. None of the above would prevent me to visit again though.

Good location in one one of the main streets, very close to Guaita Tower. Spacious room in a very competitive price for one person. Theres a bar available for coffee and snacks. Good accommodation choice, is recommended.

Stunning view from our balcony. Dinner at the restaurant and Friendly & kind staffs. Location of the hotel was wonderful, almost all must see sites are within easy walking distance. Also, Parking was perfect and very convenient. Room was quiet and comfortable.

To start with, the checkin desk is not clearly marked and it is part of the desk of the hotel which is one floor down. The rooms themselves are situated one floor up from the ground, which means that you'll have to climb down one floor with your luggage and then climb up two floors to get to your room, the lack of an elevator making the situation bad! The funny thing is that, I couldn't find the checkin desk and asked a restaurant help where the checkin desk was, literally 2 metres from the hotel counter, since it was not properly marked. The response that I received was that she doesn't know and redirected me to the hotel desk! The room itself is nothing to write home about. The amenities provided are average. In my case, the window blind not staying up even after I tired multiple times. The furniture is average and also the quilt is one of the cheapest you can find in any market in Italy. The situation with the bathroom also is not very satisfactory. The toilet does not have a Bidet. Even though there was running hot water, the shower head in my case seems broken and could not be set to a height. If you are being offered the room 118, kindly decline since the door lock requires the skills of a locksmith, to close most of the times. Edit : Another important thing that i missed was that the WiFi was not working in my Mobile on the day of my checkin. I called the desk and the response was pathetic, that they have never had this issue before!!

The location of the hotel is nice. It is a walkable distance from the Parking 6 in San Marino. It is also located near to the central locations in San marino like the Piazza Liberta, Piazza Garibaldi, the scenic view point and the first Castle. There are also some museums, bars and restaurants around.

No kettle or any ability to make coffee or tea in the room. We had to get hot water directly from the restaurant when they are open. The room does not have a lot of lighting so quite dark at night.

The location is really good but no room with view were avaiable for our stay. The restaurant on premise is great option for lunch or dinner.

Matress too soft. Hotel entrance not easy to find. Check in at the resturant and rooms are 2-3 staircases above, very not comfortable to go up & down with suitcases.

Asked for a quite room and got the rear facing room, to the scenary and not the street - great success. Central location & quite. Got exact instructions to park at parking 6 - super close to hotel. If its full when you arrive - wait for someone to come out, other parkings are too far

San Marino on the top! Nice small hotel in the upper part of San Marino town. Room with marvellous view over the landscape surrounding the small state. Friendly staff, especially the landlady. Don't miss the dinner, it's great! In general, a very remarkable place to stay.

Excellent location in the heart of San Marino. Views from the room were stunning, with blinds for good blackout conditions and a light breezy interior.

Noise wafting up from the street during periods of high foot traffic (we were there during the celebration of San Marino’s patron saint).

The room was functional and met our needs. The west facing views were as good as any you will get on Monte Titano, even without a balcony. As a bonus, all even numbered rooms also face away from the street.

If to mention some small things- Parking a little far if you park at p7 and a little noisy becoz of the exhaust. but that wont stop me booking this hotel…

We always select PARKING as a priority. La Rocca advertises parking. It has no parking. Parking is in lots down the street or down the hill. You are lucky if you find a spot. We had to park down the hill and ride the small train and then walk up hill to hotel.
