Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great as usual. I have been there for many times and I will stay more. That’s a perfect hotel to spend a night on a road trip. Quiet place, parking lot, friendly and supportive staff

Not my first time staying in this otherwise good hotel, but I think over time the breakfast became less tasty, we would definitely appreciate more vegetables.And not every salad should come with loads of mayonnaise :)

Small bathroom, noisy ventilators on WC and bathrooms.
Superb breakfast, probably the best in Kosice! High level of comfort in rooms, calm and kind atmosphere, private and monitored parking, walking distance to the city centre, easy access to public transportation, including trh main bus/train station as well as the main highway exits.

Hotel is very close to city centre. Staff and facilities were great. Breakfast choices very surprisingly vast. Overall it is a great value for money offer and I would definitely visit again.

We had an absolutely amazing time here. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

When we checked in the room was very warm (top floor after a hot day) but this was quickly sorted by opening the windows for a few minutes. The hotel management must be aware of this issue and should instruct housekeepers to air. Not a big problem but would make such a difference in customer experience.
Everything you can expect from a modern hotel. Very clean and in good condition. Free parking also a benefit. The best thing was the included breakfast, top score! Huge selection and everything was fresh and tasty.

Despite the overall positive experience, there were a couple of things that could have been improved. The lack of air conditioning was a significant drawback for me, especially during warmer days. Cooling the room with open windows was a slow process, and I missed the comfort of controlled temperature at times. Also, the room's layout with two bedrooms and a common space was initially a bit confusing. I was unsure if someone else would be staying in the other room, and though it turned out to be a non-issue, some clarification at check-in would have been reassuring.
During my business trip to Košice in May, I chose Hotel Crystal, and I was thoroughly impressed with what it had to offer. The location, just a bit outside the old town yet very close to the city center, was perfect for commuting to the office. Parking was ample, and navigating back and forth was a breeze. The modern design of the hotel caught my eye, but what made my stay truly special was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, always ready with suggestions and recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. The breakfast spread was large, varied, and high-quality, catering to all tastes. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comfort I needed without feeling cramped. The unique layout with two rooms and a common space added to the appeal, even though it was initially a bit confusing. Nearby attractions and the easy access to my workplace complemented the experience, and the overall quality of the stay felt premium. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the efforts to provide a personalized service. Hotel Crystal provided a high-quality and memorable stay, and I'll definitely return in the future. The convenient location, excellent staff interactions, clean and spacious rooms, and delightful breakfast contributed to an enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to other travelers, whether on business or leisure. If you're looking for a modern and comfortable place to stay with excellent service, Hotel Crystal in Košice might be just the place for you!
