I slept well but would have preferred one large duvet and a double bed to two singles pushed together and two single duvets but it is a very small thing.

The hotel is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and put on an incredible breakfast spread even though I was the only guest staying there. The homemade jams were delicious. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

A wonderfully situated property right on the Sora with excellent access to the old town and a huge network of walking trails. The staff are some of the sweetest and most helpful people we have ever met. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious! Thank you!

Maybe one thing that could be improved is the mattress, for our preferences is too soft.

Very beautiful hotel in such a charming location. The host, Tatiana is very kind and ready to help with everything, from the room accommodation to restaurants suggestions and traveling advices. The hotel is very comfortable, furnished with such good taste and attention on every detail. The rooms are big and spotless clean. The breakfast is very good, with tasty local products. The location of the hotel is good. An easy walk to the old town and castle, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was sufficient, fresh and enjoyable. The owners were lovely people, chatty and interesting, with time for all their guests. We were taken to the train station when we left which was a great help for us with all our heavy luggage. Our room was spacious and light with a great view of the recently flooded river and lawn areas. Our bed was comfortable and the hotel made for a peaceful stay. Lovely detail throughout the hotel mostly done by the owners themselves makes for a nice vibe and ambience within the hotel. A gem of a hotel in beautiful Skofja Loka.

An excellent guesthouse by the river in Skofja Loka, a quiet and pretty town that is well located for visiting the lakes, mountains and main city. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast room decorated in a modern mountain chalet style and the overall impression is one of good quality with attention to detail. Breakfast was very pleasant. The biggest bonus are the owners - charming, friendly people who are also great for advice on activities and places to dine locally.

Not being able to stay longer

Very comfortable hotel close to centre of town and castle with onsite parking. We had a very spacious room with balcony overlooking the river it was immaculately presented Breakfast was great. The owners were lovely

Absolutely fabulous location - in a beautiful town. The hotel is simply stunning - I don't think the photos on the website do it justice. We had a room overlooking the river, with a full-length balcony. We did not meet the staff at arrival (everything was ready in the lobby), but they were there for breakfast - which is fabulous (and they are great ambassadors for their town and Slovenia)!
