This is in no way a fault of the hotel, but in a village nearby there is a large thermal power station. It's been there since the 50s, and the spa has been sitting here at least a century before. Nevertheless, the air is not as clean as it usually is in Slovenia (eventhough and luckily, the spa is in the upstream wind, so there is no stench which you definitely have in the village). I guess this is something that's driving the prices down.

It was just great value for money. The kids enjoyed the pool, the food was just great, the staff was welcoming and helpful. But most of all, this money we spent here could not buy us one, let alone three HB days in an average slovenian spa. I'd visit again just for the food. This is an old, but a well taken care of hotel. In a nice part of Slovenia, relatively close to both Maribor, Ljubljana, or Golte if you want to see some snow.

First we stayed in a standard room, wasn't good. Around the table/desk we found dirt and pieces of papersheets on the floor. The door of the cupboard (only one) was torn off, could not use it. When I took a bath the bathroom was flooded through the water drain. Dirty and scratched walls. No air condition. No fridge. Because of the inconveniences we got a renovated room. It was excellent. New furniture, A/C, fridge, good smell, nice walls and decorations. It was comfortable. The elevators are extremely slow, we were with our baby and her trolley, sometimes had to wait 6-7 minutes and it happened that we used the stairs instead to the 4th floor. Pictures show more wellness zones outside, we were disappointed that they are out of order for ages ages ages covered by flora... and there is only one pool outside.

The renovated rooms are excellent. New furniture, A/C, fridge, good smell, nice walls and decorations. It was comfortable. The wellness area inside was good (there is only one pool which goes/is outside, it was big and ok, too but hotel photos shows more outside pools). Catering was delicious. Nature around is amazing. The staff was helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay with a little baby.

Room: Not entirely clean. Room was cleaned with such strong cleaner that my eyes were stinging after being in the room for a while. Thankfully we were able to open the big window and this eventually solved the problem. Breakfast: It would have been better if there were more options, but there were a good number of options for the price. Dinner: Same as breakfast: it would have been better if there were more options, but there were a good number of options for the price.

Room: average size, average cleanliness, out-dated, in need of a refirbishment. Breakfast: Not amazing, but also not bad. I was able to get plenty of vegetables and other tasty things. Would be better if everything was clean. Would be better for meat eaters. Dinner: Decent dinner, enjoyed the buffet. Was happy with it.

Rooms and pool area are not clean at all, nasty. Everything need maintenance, from garderobo where u can't lock or unlock your luggage. Slippery floor and nobody cleans it, hair, .dirt etc. Would not recommend. Food in the hotel restaurant average.

Great location, great staff. Everything you could ask for for a comfortable stay. They even have a playroom for children. Also the food in the restaurant was delicious, even for children I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to enjoy the hot pools or the beautiful nature that surrounds the hotel...
