Wi-Fi didn't work. I suggest providing at least 2 room keys for 3 adult persons. Sound isolation was very bad! A lot of stairs to the room.

The location was great, very close to Terme Catez. Free parking available on weekends, and on working days after 3 p.m. Very kind staff.

There used to be a lively bar - pub downstairs, which also served very good breakfasts. For some reason it has been closed for a year, which is a shame. It added ambience to the venue and was very convenient too.

Great location, on the condition, the cafés and bars nearby are open. Nice, vintage style, cozy and comfy rooms.

it was very hot outside and the A/C could not do the work properly. common spaces were without the AC installation, very hot and generally a very modest look.

I was in the hotel, when it was about 30°C outside and there was AC in the room but it seemed like it was just blowing the air around on very low speed. The room was very hot and I was sweating very much the whole stay. Another thing are thin yellow courtains which block no sun. The room was light as if the light was turned on the whole time.

The hotel is in the centre of Brežice, about 300m from the castle and everything old part of town has to offer. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room and toilet were clean.

There is no elevator and stairs are a bit steep. It would be nice if hotel was able to provide baby cribs, not to have to carry them to the second floor. Everything else was great.

The hotel is in a very good spot of the city. Restaurants, shops and bars are very close. Communications was perfect as well.

Parking is not for free and the hotel is at the first and second floor without lift, but for this price it was truly no problem, for us.

The hotel is in the middle of this small nice town. It was possible to chat in whatsapp with the receptionist, she waited just for us and after the check-in she went away. The room was nice and quietly clean: good beds and big bathroom. We had only an unlucky episode with the cleaning lady in the morning because she didn't know we were inside, but anyway it is a place where we can come back.

If you are staying in some of the last rooms you get the best Internet in the corridor or in the toilet.

The location is perfect, there are restaurants and bars around. We found a micro brewery with excellent craft beer just in 15 minutes walk.

The hotel is nice, pleasantly furnished. It offers a homely atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the location is excellent. There is an excellent bakery nearby, that replaces breakfast.

The breakfast is bread, ham and cheese. It's ok, but a bit strange, it would be so much better to have an omelette or something. The bar closes at 10. The church bell woke us up at 7 am.

It's a good place to stay for one night.

All those photos of a restaurant and good food shown on Booking.com are misleading - the restaurant is now closed, so the place is now just a set of old-fashioned rooms above some kind of Irish bar. Staff seemed indifferent - when we tried to check in, we had to wait while he finished collecting and washing glasses from the almost empty bar.

The room was quite comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep and moved on.

Tuesday’s (I stayed 2 Tuesdays) seemed to be loud music night in an adjacent flat.

The staff and location were excellent. Breakfast was decent for the additional charge.

The listed phone number on booking.com seems to be linked only to the day time staff. If you are like me and you know you plan to arrive very late ask for a number of the night staff.

I arrived after midnight on a Friday (after notifying in advance) and it was no problem at all, the host stayed up and waited. Very attentive and nice host. Nice old renovated building. Accommodation is simple but clean and orderly. As I stayed only for one night and did not have a breakfast (it was offered to me) I can't say much more. I did order a coffee though and it was excellent! (they even had lactose free milk)

We paid 2 times local taxes. Once through Bookingcom and once again on site at the hotel. Thus, the announced price of 58 euros increased to 68 euros.

The town is extremely beautiful and clean. The staff is kind and responsive, the hotel is stylish and nice, but a bit shabby.
