This place is one of the best places to stay at when you are at Slovenia. Its a bit remote, which makes it more special, but also harder if you don't have a car. The owner is a kind, generous man. The accomodations are nice and cleans, as well as the toilets. There is also a large gym for you to use, and the common area is enormous. I stayed there for a week and felt at home. Note- You make your own food. The place supplies many ingredients that you can pay for if you want (8 euros for meal, totally worth it).

Small kitchen, fruits and vegetables was not fresh.

Very helpfull, friendly owner and staff. View is beautifull, but accepted something more special from orher people rewies:) Are few roads to get there, one is very high and narrow:), and one is normal road. Our navigation showed the higest road:) but when left a hotel Jaro showed the right way:)

Some friends were not happy with the inside temperature and cooktop shoud be also bigger in case that many people need to cook in one time.

Nice location with view, unfortunately we have had first two days a bit cloudy. As a group of friend we have enjoyed large open bar room for our evening talks (and drinks...). We have found possibility to wash and store our bikes

The showers should be separated for privacy.

The owner is awesome and friendly. The breakfast is great with so many options. The silence is priceless, and views are breathtaking! You'll need your own car if you want to stay here. Great value for money.

House Jaro was amazing! The location of the house was just perfect. The view was so beautiful, you can see the sun set in the mountains every evening. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, just like the bathrooms. The host made our stay exceptional. He is very friendly and did everything to make us feel like home. Would 100% recommend!

Crisp, clean, new rooms. The house is on a mountaintop in a beautiful surrounding, wish we could stay longer to trip around. It likely was our mistake, we did not realise the bathrooms were shared. However everything was perfectly clean, spacious, no other guests were there when we showered, hence it ended up being private :-)

The restaurants in town all close early on Sunday evenings. Quick story: Sunday evening at the lake and the weather/water was so perfect we played until about 9pm. By the time we packed everything up and drove into the center everything but 1 restaurant (fast food was also open) was closed. We went to the restaurant and they were full with an hour wait even for take out so they stopped taking all orders, even take out. This left us the option of not eating or eating fast food... We chose to go to bed hungry. When we returned to the hotel I couldn't figure out how to turn the porch light on so I called the owner and he explained. He asked how our day was and I told him the story. He then instructed me to go to the breakfast area refrigerators and make a fun dinner for my family and I. Without pause, he knew we were hungry and immediately wanted to make sure we went to bed full... We felt like we were part of the family. Amazing. Absolutely amazing!

This has been my favorite stay in many years for my family and I! The owner and his father built the property themselves. Everything is hand made and masterfully crafted to perfection! The owner is a former martial arts champion of 30 years for team Slovenia. His character is exactly what you would expect from a champion, incredible! The discipline and dedication to perfecting martial arts is seen all throughout the property and the guest experience. Whilst exploring you will continue to see new small details that you missed at first glance. The property is simply gorgeous! Far exceeding all expectations and the wellness spa is just what the doctor ordered! No matter what your needs are, you can count on them being met! BEST Property and Experience EVER! The breakfast is very robust, delicious and has something for everyone. The location is moments away from town center and the lake which is absolutely To Die For if you want fun in the sun! The evening bar at the property is basically on the honor system and again speaks to the character of the owner. Bar=Honor System? Yes, you heard it right. When one's personality is so trustworthy, one trusts the general public to do the right thing. I feel honored for having met the owner and his family and intend on maintaining a life long friendship.! These are people I want my children to know and model their behavior after as role models... I will return again and again for years to come! I cannot recommend this property enough. I have already told all of my friends!!!
