Beautiful place in the center of Izola. I slept under the roof which felt like in my younger years. Got to know very nice peole and the owners are very helpful and warm - would love to visit this place again. Had a really nice time! :)

The owner, Uroš, really is the nicest person and has at heart for you to have an amazing stay. Despite having limited check-in times it is not an issue at all to drop in your luggage early, which is extremely convenient if you rely on (not so reliable) bus schedules. The key system was fascinating to me as you don't get a physical key: the front door unlocks by calling an automated number. All that added to a very homey hostel (little tip: get the attic, it's so spacious and feels extra homey!): it's probably one of the best hostels I've been to, because it felt more like home than a hostel. :)

Everything was perfect. Please do note that the reception doesn’t work between 11-5. However, you can still check in as usual and even go to your room early. Just communicate your check in time with the host in advance and you will not encounter any issue.

- Location: the hostel is located right in the middle of the old town. Very close to the bus station and the beach. - Cleanliness: the hostel is exceptionally clean! - staff were very helpful and friendly. - Feels like a small family run business and the vibes were great.

The host was amazing and makes the best coffee and freshly baked crossaints in the morning. Ingeneral the hostel is wonderful and very personal. Good for a very cozy and local stay in Izola!

There was one night where some people threw a birthday party in the common area. This was very loud and disrupted our sleep.

The staff was very friendly and we got some towels for free. the kitchen was also very well equipped. Nothing too fancy but great for a short stay.

The attic dorm was cosy and relaxing, great homey atmosphere all around. The locker was huge (lock was provided) and the AC is sooo quiet :) Uros and his colleague are great hosts and he also helped me with early check-in, infos on public transportation and tips for activities in the area. There are several bathrooms that the guests can use and the hostel has amazing water pressure (handle carefully in the kitchen though! :)) ) There's a small inner courtyard where you can also keep your bike. Everything was stellar clean and the nice wooden stairs kept making me walk barefoot, just like at home ❤️

The only bad point was about noise, you can hear a lot the neighbors from the next room if they wake up early (it was children so not very understandable). To resume, I didn't put 10/10 because of the lack of soundproofing between rooms.

The women at the reception was really nice, thanks you for the welcoming! The kitchen is also amazing with a lot of stuffs to cook during several days! For the bedroom, amazing beds and very confortable :) You can also meet people thanks you the good advices of the reception!

Really cozy and cute Hostel. Perfectly located and really kind, thoughtful & heartwarming staff! Check-in/out was so easy and relaxed & I loved the family atmosphere here! Little kitchen with the things you need, WiFi connection was fast & stable. Would come here again anytime! Thank you for the lovely short stay!

This hostel is close to the port, beach, all amenities and hiking trails. It's a very cosy, clean and nice hostel. The owners are very very kindful and friendly !
