The hotel is situated in a wonderful location, very near to lake Bled. The staff were very friendly, and helpful in anything needed. The rooms were tradional and exceptionally clean. The breakfast had many options that were very tasty. Overall I would highly recommend Garni Hotel Berc

I had the small single room which was smaller than other single rooms I've stayed in but really didn't matter as I wasn't in the room much! Will still be recommending this place to friends!

I was given probably the warmest welcome I've had at any hotel anywhere in the world, Luka was so friendly and helpful and immediately I felt at home here. He also gave me a map and directions for getting in to town, and helped me to my room with my luggage. Tea and coffee making facilities weren't in the room but I didn't mind this at all, it was all downstairs in the breakfast room to help yourself at any time. It actually made it feel more homely to have to leave the room to make a drink! There's also a nice seating area down there where I sat to eat my snacks in the evenings. Breakfast was tasty and good coffee machine! Location of the hotel was excellent, easy to walk to from Bled Union bus stop (where the buses from the train station and Ljubljana arrive at) and an easy walk to the lake and restaurants, shops etc too. Very quiet peaceful area but felt very safe too. Nice shower and comfy bed.

Sound isolation is not very good. Kinda expected for a wooden house, but still.

Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Quite comfortable rooms. Perfect location: close to the lake, and to the center, and to the bus station, but away from noise. Breakfast was quite basic, but good and tasty.

This is what true hospitality looks like. From the first moment to the last, we felt as if we were at home. The atmosphere is extremely cozy, everything is clean and charming. The pleasant scent of wood envelops the place. The hotel is quiet so the pleasant stay is guaranteed. The owner of the place did everything to make our stay perfect. Location is also the best in town. Best hotel experience!

There was no lift and we had to carry our bags up the stairs to the 1st floor.

My only complaint would be the bathroom ventilation wasn't working and since there were no windows, you have to air the bathroom through your room. Wasn't a big deal though.

Location is excellent, the staff is so friendly and nice. Breakfast is generous and tasty. Our room was kinda small, but interesting enough the bathroom was almost as big as the room, which is pretty spatious. The beds were comfy and the whole place was immaculate clean.

There was nothing we did not like.

WE were given the room right near the front desk which had a big bathroom and bedroom and a living room. Large balcony that could be accessed from both living room and bedroom. It was very bright and airy and we LOVED it. The owner was SO helpful giving us helpful hints on the places we were visiting. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will hope to return one day.

The breakfast exceeded all expectations. Not a "continental" breakfast. Lots of options. We looked forward to it the second day, and didn't eath lunch either day after such a good breakfast. Location convenient to everything. Short walk to the SE corner of the lake and the small town. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower. Even the hallways were pleasant and decorated with original artwork done by a local artist.

We stayed 6 days and cleanliness was good, but the carpet got a bit gritty from our walking shoes and could have done with an extra vacuum.

Lovely looking building and I was made very welcome at the reception. Room was a good size with small terrace. The bed was comfortable and good storage facilities. Bathroom had a large walk-in shower. Tea and coffee available all day in breakfast room. Breakfast very good. Everything was clean. The breakfast and cleaning staff were very pleasant!
