The location at the river was pittoresk and quiet and peaceful. The cabins were really as luxurious as a cabin can be. And the spa treehouse was an exciting experience. The chocolate topic from my point of view was a bit stretched (chocolate-salami really meant salami with chocolate) but that’s a question of taste. Breakfast was amazing. I really can only recommend a stay at the village.

That the SPA had to be rented for three hours for 80 euros for access to the sauna and hot tub.

After unexpectedly being in a Slovenian hospital for some time a came to Chocolat Village to gain strength before being able to fly back to Netherlands. It was wonderful to enjoy the great care and relaxt location for some time.

Location is 'off the beaten tracks', which is great and was for us not perfect for adventures for more than a day. especially if the weather is not super good. and: can only recommend for 2-3 nights

I couldn't stay longer and had to leave early. A tiny screen to increase privacy on the large windows by the bed would be great, perhaps pull up screen or curtain instead of the one hanging? Then you could enjoy the view while not being seen from the outside.

When you go glamping you don't expect five star service. I came here with my dog during a roadtrip. We had been away for almost a month already and we were looking forward to some relaxing times. The check in and information was on point and the accommodation was so smart and clever. It was small though so if you come with another human don't bring the biggest luggage because it will be tight. Loved the cosy, calm feel with the view across the river. After less than 24 hours me and my dog had an accident unrelated to thecamp and the way everyone helped us out brought tears to my eyes. So compassionate, caring and present hospitality is not something you could assume but all of the staff were checking in, helped out and was just accommodating. In the end, my dog who was quite badly injured, was looking for the staff as soon as we passed reception since he bonded so hard with them. Small things, like helping out W food from restaurant, packing a little food for our early departure, and kind words went such a long way. Besides the response to our accident, the space and staff are incredible. The view and environment made us so calm and happy and we really wanted to experience more about this place. I can't recommend this enough, the staff should know they are absolutely stars, kind, caring, awesome stars. The design and structures created in this space are mind blowing. View and nature as well.

Parking lots should be a bit better organized and EV charging added. The AC under the bed solution for heating that we had in our unit is not the best, the team should look into other heating options like IR panels for the mini houses (no noise or vibrations and more natural heating feel with less dry air)

The sauna was not working well, so we could only use the whirlpool. The relaxation area of the spa was too hot, probably due to the malfunction of the sauna.

We loved our stay. The position is really beautiful: the view of the lake is breathtaking and very romantic and all around tranquility reigns. The nearby woods are suitable for relaxing walks or bike rides. Near the glamping there is a bar that rents canoes, kayaks and sup. Houses are very confortable and well equipped. We loved the welcome basket and all chocolate themed bathroom things. Breakfast is brought each morning in an adorable basket at the chosen time. It's very rich and you can choose between 4 different options. We tried the sweet one and the savory one. There were also the veg and protein option. All products are fresh, from local producers and very tasty. The nearby Chocolate cafe Teta Frida has a lot of delicious cakes, parfaits and ice creams, a real paradise for chocolate lovers like us. We only had the opportunity to try a few and hope to return soon to savor the others. We also booked the private spa and it was really romantic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing, romantic and unforgettable experience, definitely worth the money! I will absolutely come back.

We missed some cleaning. Staying with kids usually means it gets messier fast, especially after having nature as surroundings.

Basic services - I had to ask for the toilet paper etc. You just don´t want to ask in this quite expensive accomodation. But it was just a minor shortcoming.

Extraordinary stay in treehouse was nice escape from "accomodation routine". Very good breakfast. The wine and cuisine tasting was nice. Staff very helpful.

Faultless!

Wow, what can we say? Incredible stay, staff are super friendly - go out of their way to assist you. Accommodation is beautiful, beds are beyond comfortable and the views are incredible. Made use of the panoramic spa also and this was a delight, so relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast delivered each morning was a lovely touch. 10/10 would highly recommend people make the journey to stay here. Very much hope to come back.
