Loved it all but outdoor facilities excellent. Pool with a view perfect for relaxation by in after long days walk and enjoyed sitting out around the fire pit in an evening

My room (208) had a very mildewy smell, which I am sensitive to.

Relatively small luxury hotel located one minute walking distance from Lake Bohinj surrounded by beautiful mountains. Wood is dominant build element. Staff is very helpful and warm. Our room was well equipped and with balcony. Breakfast was great, offering variety of local grown food.

It was the perfect stay, great wellness centre and breakfast. Also we were able to check in a little earlier which was greatly appreciated.

The breakfast was a bit of a let down, a great spread but it hadn’t been replenished when we arrived at 9:15 and wasn’t replenished after that - there was a conference/event happening and I think the staff were a bit flustered. The coffee machine also broke and we weren’t able to get a proper coffee with breakfast. The bed was facing away from the lake, the layout of the room didn’t seem to make sense (shower flooded the toilet). The website highlighted daily events and I was excited to participate in the yoga and sound healing but they weren’t actually running any events whilst we were there.

Wasn’t sure whether to book this hotel in Bohinj qs I wasn’t convinced the reviews matched the price point. I have mixed feelings. Staff were fab, spa was fab and the room was fab (large, clean and a really comfortable bed!). The proximity to the lake and the views are unrivalled and I’d probably stay again.

Nothing, the hotel was by far the best in the area.

The property is styled all wooden like an alpine lodge which is perfect for the setting it’s in. Our room balcony overlooked the lake, river and mountains, it was gorgeous sitting out there on a sunny evening. The bed mattresses are back friendly and they have a choice of all different pillows to choose from. The spa/wellness is accessible to guests for 2 hours a day and it’s great to utilise the Turkish steam room, Finnish sauna, salt room and the jacuzzi pool to really relax. The pool has great views of the mountains. The hotel had the outdoor fire roaring each evening and they offer different types of events such as a cinema night and morning yoga. Its location is great as it’s right by Lake Bohinj and short walking distance from good hikes and lovely restaurants. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful too. Would recommend staying here.

Everything is small... The room, the balcony, the spa. But it's just enough for a couple. Didn't feel crowded.

Everything about it was amazing, the room was super clean with a big bathroom and gorgeous interier design, the spa is super cozy and it's so nice that it's not crowded. Breakfast was delicious and the view is amazing, along with location.

The hotel is exceptional, the furniture and its structure have so much detail its amazing and peaceful to look at! The views from the room are also wonderful! The staff are kind, polite and helpful! Their spa area is truly beautiful! They also offer great massage options which we tried and were super satisfied! Truly recommend!

We had a lovely time overall, but there were a couple of things that could be improved. The dinner options didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of taste. Also, when my wife and I booked the VIP sauna package, we felt that the service from the reception could have been more attentive. These tweaks could make future stays even better!

We were not able to get into the spa on our first night and though busy it never seemed overly busy. Our room was near the garbage bins, if they could have not been visible it would have been better sitting on the balcony. We wanted to use the movie room a second night but there was something happening the next day so reception said it would not be possible. We were fine with it, but would have been fun. The construction next door is understandable but would have been nice to have notice that it was happening and large equipment would be in the parking and driveway area and large objects being moved next to our vehicle.

We liked the hotel overall and the use of the spa facilities. The breakfast was very good and varied, and we enjoyed a nice dinner as well. We also enjoyed the movie room, which could use some popcorn snacks and maybe a few tables to put drinks on next to the bean bags. The staff were all very friendly and everything was clean, especially the rooms which were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had ample to choose from, and we really enjoyed the omelets every morning, nice and fresh. There are hiking trails in the area and at night it's very quiet so you can get some peaceful rest.

Our stay in Hotel Bohinj was very pleasant and exceeded our expectations. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious, rooms were very clean, spacious, comfy and beautiful to look at. The spa and sauna experience that you get for free was excellent, the area was clean and well equipped. We are looking forward to visiting again!

I wished the bathroom was a bit more separate from the sleeping area. There were issues with the television, the wi-fi was extremely slow and we had quite some problems trying to watch movies from our own USB key. I was also very disappointed that the fire pit wasn't lit, even though there was no rain. We were informed that there are construction works going on somewhere near the hotel, but we didn't expect they will be directly in front of the restaurant, completely ruinig the view from the dining area. And lastly, the room was described as very soundproof, but we heard people talking in the hallways, someone walking above us and vacuum cleaners in the morning.

The location is magical, the hotel is beautiful, the restaurant has nothing but exquisite food. The room was very clean and the view was unbelieveably gorgeous. We also greatly enjoyed the wellness, that was included in the price. This place has great charm and we will be happy to come here again.
