How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The toilet is small and lack place to hang stuff
The location, the supermarket is just across the street. Free parking and breakfast is good.

The room is a bit small for 2 adults and a baby.
The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff was helpful. The city is just 10 minutes by car.

Towels in the bathroom were not enough. When we checked in, we had only one big and one small towel in the room, so we go to the reception to tell them to leave us one more big towel. The women from the reception told us that on one room we can have only one towel and I was confuse on that because we were two person and the room was for two. After that they bring only one big towel which was not enough.
The hotel is in a quiet area. Near the hotel you have LIDL market and some restaurants (very good Chinese restaurant). From the hotel you can walk or you can catch a direct bus to go to the centar. Bus station is 180-190m from the hotel on the other side of the street. In the bus you can pay with your credit card or visa or master card. The room and the bathroom were very tiny and clean. The breakfast was ok. Parking is in the front of the hotel. You can use the fitness and sauna without additional charge.

Small rooms, hard to get around in or put away cloths for 5 nights.
The price was right and the staff very helpful. Rooms were on the small size-especially the bathroom

There was a french school class at the same time staying. Very friendly and discipled youth, but of course not very silent. I used my earplugs and slept well all night.
The location in the outskirts of Ljubljana is near to sports facilities, parks and greeneries. It was easy to find parking on the premises.

The staff was very helpful with off-hours check-in. Very good breakfast. Lidl supermarket across the street as well as public transit bus station (15 mins to the train station). The hotel offers free sauna and gym (big benefit). A restaurant next to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Cleaning could be better. Toilet was smelling bad, a lot of dust in the bedroom and bathroom. Staff could be more friendly.
Very good breakfast, there are some restaurants and supermarkets close by. We appreciate the gym and sauna included in the price. Bus stop was also very close.

Small rooms, small bathroom, weird shower and uncomfortable beds.
Location is good, close to the bus station. Also, there are a lot of nice restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was perfect. Good value for money

It's good value for the price. The room is just a little bit small.
Very good breakfast with varieties. The hotel is close to big supermarket, gym and a famous Chinese restaurant.

Unfortunately on booking there is no option to book triple rooms so we ended up 8 people in 4 triple rooms. It was a waste of space and money!
The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. It was great for a one night stay.

The road signs for the hotel are not so clear, hence a bit difficult to find.

I would have really appreciated having a mini fridge in the room and also a bigger closet.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful even for an English speaking visitor, they explained everything clearly. I liked that they have a parking space, the cleanliness and comfort was amazing. The fact that breakfast was included at this price was awesome especially because they had a great variety of food that also tasted good.

Room walls are very thin as we woke up at 6 in the morning because we heard the alarm from another room and it didn’t stop for like 20-30 minutes. The beds are not very comfortable. Everything else was ok.
It’s a bit expensive but the location is pretty good if you have a car, they offer free parking and allow pets. The room was really clean and the breakfast was OK.
