Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainRooms are not mosquito free. Shower cannot be closed, water keeps on dropping, not very clean, food in restaurant is not very good.
The staff is nice. The lift to reach the rooms is super special! Price is cheaper than mist hotels in the area.

AustraliaThe insects (lots getting into the room at night even with the netting) and the poor condition of the facilities. There is a steep walk up to the room and the cable car isn't always reliable. Walking down with a bag was a mission.
Venue, staff, comfortable bed. The staff were really wonderful. The coffee was good too. It's good for budget accommodation but possibly not the best for business accommodation.

AustriaThe TV has only three channels; this is unacceptable. The fridge was rusty.
WiFi very good, although it has to be paid separately. The one included in the price is only available in the lobby. For three days about 18 USD. The room was very clean, the cleaning staff attentive and friendly.

I really enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. The pizza does take a while. I enjoyed riding the vehicular up to my room. I climbed Tenaru Falls and really enjoyed the experience.

Czech RepublicRestaurant is painfully slow!!! I recommend to pre-order everything and then come back! Wifi only in the lobby (in room-gotta pay) Most of the staff VERY slow and inefficient (not all of them though) Kettles need descaling urgently (I had to do it myself as reception was useless and after 3 reminders and 8 hours they gave me back the same gross one) Leaking showers Rats (one sniffed my foot in the lobby) There is communal washing machine but doesn’t spin so at the end your laundry is super wet (at least cleanish…you can use dryer) They don’t offer any tours. If you ask, not much information is given (go to the information centre-much better!). But plan in advance, everyone responds very late.
The retro cable car was actually cute! Hot water in the shower Pizza was delicious Tea/coffee in the room, soap and shampoo too AC works well Windows have good mash, just check the door Mattress ok

New ZealandThe band played very loud until 3 in the morning Friday night. Shower continually dripped. Gym was filthy. In room phone didn't work. Staff didn't give any information on arrival and there was no information about the hotel in the room, thing's like you have to turn hot water on for shower out on the landing would have been good to know. We were only given one shower towel.Another was provided when we asked. Towels weren't refreshed daily. Bath mat was soaking wet and not replaced. I wasn't there for leisure but if I was I'd be very disappointed. The pool didn't look clean, water was murky. Staff at reception and in restaurant were very slack. The night we had dinner our meals arrived over half an hour apart. They had no red wine even though there was red wine on the menu. Pretty average all round.
It was pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. Convenient for our purpose

United KingdomThe whole property could do with some maintenance. No hot water in our room. Restaurant was disappointing. WiFi was only free in the lobby - they offer a paid option for the room, but it's very expensive and only covers one device, so it's not really usable. Cheaper to buy a local SIM card with a lot of data instead. Considering the high price, I'd expected the hotel to be in better shape overall.
Perfect location, right in the centre of Honiara, just a block or two away from the museum, art gallery, handicraft market, Our Telekom office, and post office. So it's a great base for walking around and exploring the town. The funicular railway to get to your room is a fun experience and worked fine, although sometimes a little slow when it's busy. The room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe room we stayed in needed a bit of basic maintenance to get everything functioning as it should.
The accommodation was basic, but had everything you needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and the restaurant / bar area pleasant. The reception area was the only place to access WiFi, although they are trialing another "hotspot" service which worked well for me in the room. Great central location in Honiara.
