The breakfast menu was a bit limited

The rooms was really nice. We got a twin bed deluxe with Haram view, and the view was really beautiful. There was a dedicated set of lifts that operated between the top floors and the ground floor and they were quite efficient.

I was extremely happy, satisfied and over the moon with what Anjum hotel offered. The best location ever in Makkah with only a few mins walk to Haram. Service, food, staff and willingness to go beyond and an extra mile to make sure the guests are happy. I was in room 2140, and the staff especially made my visit memorable when they did everything possible for me to meet my mom that I haven't seen in 18 years. Special thanks goes to أماني in Guest Relations رنيم و سمية و عارف و قصي in Reception سارة و عبد الكريم الرحيلي in Duty managers سارة الحازمي in restaurant محمد عمر شيبة in security Thank you everyone for making me feel welcomed and for coffee and fruits were sent to my room. I will be returning very soon and recommending this outstanding hotel to everyone I know.

I liked everything about this property, from the very first step at check-in the staff was friendly and hospitable. Rooms were spacious and clean. Room Service was lightning fast. Our side of Haram gates were temporarily closed due to construction but still the walk was decent. Breakfast was superb with a lot of variety every day. Would definitely recommend.

They could include some Asian break fast options within their breakfast menu as it currently represents only Turkish , French and continental options.

The location is great very close to haram. The staff was helpful and the property is very clean and friendly for families.

Payment card being declined due to the hotel saying their card machine is not working when actually it is working.

When I was at the airport getting on my flight, I received a message from the hotel through booking.c saying my card is declined and I need to pay with a different card or my booking will be cancelled. This made me so worried as I knew it must be a mistake as I use this credit card all time and it never gets declined. I messaged them back saying not to cancel my booking and provided with the card details again. Once we got to the hotel I tried paying it with the same credit card that was declined and it got declined again. Then I tried using my debit card and this was declined aswell. I said they need to check the machine as this can’t be right both cards getting declined. The staff did something with the machine and the payment went through with the debit card. I really didn’t wanted to pay with the debit card as I knew I will get charged extra but it was too late as the payment went through. My bank charged me non GB transaction fee of £36.37 which I really wanted to avoid by paying with the credit card instead. I was not happy with that. It was the hotel’s fault for not checking their machine and making people worry for nothing and paying extra bank charges. I didn’t make a fuss as I wanted to enjoy my time here and concentrate on my umrah. Anjum is a beautiful hotel and very clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. Great location and very close to the Haram. Would I stay again at Anjum? I would love to but my finances won’t allow it. Next time I go for umrah again, I would look for a budget hotel but might go for dinner at Anjum one evening Inshah’Allah.
