Perhaps the rooms don't live up to the high standard set by the common areas, but our room was very comfortable and certainly one of the best we had in Rwanda. We learned elsewhere in Rwanda to order meals well in advance of arriving in the restaurant, and it might have helped here as well. The pool looks so clean and welcoming, but it is right next to the dining area, so self conscious swimmers might want to pick their moment.

This was the first hotel we stayed at in a 2 week holiday in Rwanda, and it set a standard that would be difficult to beat. We were really spoiled here. From the moment we arrived we were treated as welcome guests in a serene and beautiful home. The common areas are the real highlight, with the restaurant arranged around the pool, where you can sit and enjoy breakfast to the sounds of birdsong. So peaceful. Breakfast was served to order by the always considerate staff. The dining experience is top quality, and was enjoyed by residents and discerning non-residents alike. There is aircon and tv in the rooms.

i can write a book about the whole overwhelming experience i had with the team and the warm hospitality i have received . Definitely home away from home and the team will do everything they can to take care of me. thank you!!!! on top of that, delicious food by the pool and mango smoothie is to die for!

the villa is quite noisy. especially if other guests come back to their room at 2am and don’t take of the noise. also it is weird to have the pool area and restaurant not being available due to a private reservation. this area is one of the nicest areas in the hotel, so it is very strange you can’t make use of it as a guest without notification prior to booking

The service and staff were absolutely wonderful. Super easy to get to the hotel from the airport. They were accommodating - allowing me to check in 6 hours before check-in time. I had a wonderful breakfast. They custom-made my dinner and arranged for transport to and from the airport. I was also given a very thoughtful gift, which was lovely. Will certainly come back!

It's rare that there isn't one thing that could have been improved, but this is one of those rarities. Nothing could have possibly been improved. This may have been my best hotel experience of my life.

It is hard to summarize everything I enjoyed about the hotel in just 2 or 3 sentences :) Upon arrival, we were greeted with one of the most delicious mango juices that I have ever tasted, along with smiles and hellos from all of the staff. THEN - I couldn't believe it - one of my friends mentioned that it was my birthday the next day. When my friend and I were brought to our room, we were told we had been upgraded to the luxury suite to help celebrate. The room was gorgeous. There were a few cultural/traditional decorations, but it was very modern (and there was a lot of natural lighting with the large window). The bathroom is worthy of its own review as well. It was beautiful and you could tell the thoughtfulness put into its design. Unfortunately I did not make time to use the bathtub, but the shower was amazing. The next highlight was the restaurant area (with a beautiful pool in the center of it). Again, my loss for not making the time to take a dip, but I certainly made sure to have every breakfast - and bite of it, for that matter. The breakfast was included in our stay. Usually I expect a satisfactory meal that is more utilitarian than enjoyable. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was. Honestly, my favorite meals of the trip. If I remember correctly, the chef did his studies in Dubai; I was very impressed. The breakfast was three courses - you start with a delicious coffee or latte, fruits, and then come the main courses. You have to try the pineapple jam! Check out was a sad moment for me because I did not physically want to leave! But alas, my flight and work the next day awaited. The host was very gracious and allowed for a later check out given the late departure time of my flight, and of course, they allowed us to keep our bags there while we took one more trip into the city. As we were leaving, they gave us a special gift that they provide to all guests.

The receptionist has forgotten to charge the card reader, so the battery was empty and I had to pay cash. But that was okay.

All. The location is super central but also in a calm area. They were all really friendly and professional. Good food, nice bar, gozy room, clean pool. I forgot my credit card there as I left and they called me immediately back. thank you for that.

The hotel is very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is clean, and I especially enjoyed dinners. If you are planning to visit Kigali convention center, it is just 15 min walking distance.

This is a small hotel in a great location with great and super friendly staff. It has a very nice inner courtyard with a swimming pool where a delicious food is served for breakfast and dinner. The team at the hotel made sure that my stay in Kigali was perfect in every possible way.
