    “Le Hameau is stunning. From the gorgeous gardens to the beautiful views, it is a perfect retreat within walking distance of St Paul de Vence. The rooms are immaculate full of 18th century character. Breakfast was delicious along with the snacks and evening meals on offer. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Le Hameau if you are looking for accommodate in the area.”

    “Hotel Cresp is in the Nice old town, near restaurant area, just about 50 meters from the beach. The entrance might be a little hard to spot but when you see the hotel sign on the façade you know you are in the right place. The building itself is old, kind of charming with loose floor tiles, and the hotel occupies only the third floor. There's an elevator but you have to take few steps to it. And the hotel is clean, no worries there. Room 11 was not that spacious but it served it's purpose well. It has a small kitchen corner with a stove and a fridge, complimentary (powder) coffee and tea and there's also working air conditioning. Electricity sockets can be found above and below the table, couldn't find any of those near bed. There was only very little street noise. Staff is very helpful, at least the calm Italian fellow (Michel?) who shared valuable info about public transport and restaurants. And then there's the big shared terrace. It's above an another hotel (Mercure) facing the sea. It's absolutely wonderful to sit there at any time of the day; at (self served) breakfast in the sun looking at the sea or at midnight gazing stars and bats flying above. For breakfast you can just visit the corner bakery and return with croissants and special coffee of your choice.”
