Even 15 floors up there was a little road noise when someone in a sports car or on a big bike gave it a lot of throttle at 2am. Not the Marriott's fault but I was surprised. There was a little crossover noise as the room had an adjoining door to make a suite. I'm guessing double door and you'd think that would be enough but when the couple next door were enjoying the extra spacious king bed at 3am it was very noticable.

I really can't fault this Marriott. Arrived very early & just wanted to leave bags in storage for the day. Was offered an upgrade & immediate check in (small extra cost) so was able to hit the shower after a long flight before heading out for the day. Felt fantastic. Staff went above & beyond in any interaction. Minor confusion over my late checkout on the last day but they immediately rectified it. Maybe one of the best breakfast buffets I've seen. Magnificent. Get breakfast with room & you won't be disappointed. Pool and Tulum bar were fantastic as were the staff on the pool deck. Room was in the North Tower which is apparently better. Range of restaurants on site is very good. The italian is worth a visit. If you're looking for an alternative eating option the adjoining shopping mall accessed from the 2nd floor straight from hotel is easy to get to. The city view at night from the path back from the Souk (worth a visit - especially the Falconery shops) is worth a walk or ride. Uber to the Souk late afternoon and wander or scooter back towards the Marriott as the sun sets. Ride all the way to the park near the Sheraton & then Uber back. Uber in Doha is cheap. Wouldn't bother hiring a car though the valet parking at the Marriott was very efficient.

My first night was in a lower floor very smelly and noisy room. The staff took immediate action when I told them that and they gave me a better room. Although I already asked for a high floor room when I made the reservation.

Could not fault this hotel

Lovely room, great breakfast, several restaurants in hotel, great outdoor pool, very friendly, helpful staff, access to major shopping mall from within the hotel, several quiet relaxing sitting areas in lobby and around the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

I can't fault the hotel. The staff were exceptional and we will remember how well we were treated for a long time. Delicious breakfast, plenty of variety between including international and local cuisine.

Facial and massage was inadequate, 1. Facial did not remove the blemish from my face 2. Massage was too gentle, I wanted a deep tissue massage **All the ladies were very professional to include the staff, just the SPA requires upgrades/education.

Staff are fabulous. Beds and pillows very comfortable and size of the room perfect. Close to shopping centre and a lot of food options. Breakfast great but expensive if not part of package. We would definitely stay here again.

I would not normally stay at a five-star hotel on a private trip but they had a very decent offer compared with all the rest of the city where a number of 2-3-4-star hotels had more than doubled their normal room rates (high occupancy due to holiday weeks). We got plenty of little luxury for the money spent. The room was large with splendid views, beds were comfortable, everything was working, etc.

There was leakage from shower cabin to the bathroom floor.

Very nice room with a great view. Friendly staff. Quick check-in and check-out. Superb location at the heart of West Bay. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes within and nearby the hotel. Direct access to City Center Mall.
