How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Housekeeping is not attentive it takes hours to get requested items to be delivered and hotel room are lacks of stuff unlike before we stay 1st time.
Reception were good and nice.

Slow service, dirty room , staff weren’t really nice they unable my room card while I haven’t checked out yet. Although i had a long stay in they didn’t let me park in the shade because it isn’t “long enough”. Once i checked out they literally made me wait for too long to return my deposit money. No towels when we checked in, no iron, I requested an extra bed, in the website it’s free when i went there they asked for money, honestly if you’re looking for a good location this the place for you. Don’t look for service if your intentions is only to sleep.
I like how spacious it was. And the view honestly

The bed sheets and towels were not really new!
Breakfast was nice and the room service staff were really kind and helpful. The location was great… just a few mins to city center by walk only.

We requested for some utensils, we told them how many but they didn't gave us, the room service is also not answering our calls, we tried calling them several times but to no avail, so we reach out to reception and told us they will call them directly. I hope they will provide more utensils available in the room already cause when we stayed there there was only a pair.
The hotel was accessible, room is big, nice view outside and it's affordable.

I came to the Hotel and I show my reservation, They checked there system and told me no reservation to you. I showed them the booking confirmation and the E mail message I received from them but They said we did not send this its Booking who send. I showed them the disclaimer of Booking that any message from Hotel They just forward it. And They donot send in behalf of the Hotel. After sever negotiations I informed that I will contact the local authourity showing the E mail received from Hotel. After 2 hours They gave my a flat of 3 bedroom for the same rate of 1 room. While my reservation is only one room. I blame and quite not happy because I was contacting Booking customer assistance a bout the problem but no response what so ever. So I solved the issue my self.
They gave me 3 bed room Apartments instead of 1 bed room.

Had to keep asking for more water, which was issued when requested. Need more Utencils in the kitchen as these were limited. The time waiting for the lifts is somtimes an issue due to the Hotel having a number of visitors to the facilities provided.
Facilities and service were value for money, and the Apartment met the requirments. I would stay here again in the future, as the location is good.

The amenities inside the accommodation wasn't available much such as tooth brush-paste, slippers, extra towels, dish wash liquid for minor wash if cups, no iron box & table etc..
Breakfast was good, location was excellent, views of the downtown from the room top was beautiful.

1. No available slippers. 2. When we tried to use water for washing in the kitchen, It flooded in the kitchen floor! I informed the reception and was told to call the cleaner by myself. What's worse is that when I called for a cleaner, It came the next day!
the staff, specially the guy in the reception and the guys who help put our things in the room were very polite and accommodating.
