I got a private room to be able to sleep a bit more the 2 nights I got and to be more comfortable but the room is in front of the common area and the owners and guests were really loud from 6am both days. The AC in the room was making so much noise as well.

Silvia is a lovely person and was willing to help with anything. The place is simple and nice. The private room has everything and good and stable internet for people in need to hold meetings while there

The owner was exceedingly attentive, helping with every question, problem and enquiry. Hummingbird means Hummingbirds, they came to feed at the multiple feeders by the kitchen all day.

The room is humid and the shower was cold.

We enjoyed the location in a calm area with good food options nearby (restaurants, supermarket) and it was easy to take bolt to any destination. The landlord is the sweetest, she answered our questions and helped us for everything 🙏🏻 ! The room is not the most comfortable but you get what you have for the price, it is still a great value for money considering other prices in the city.

-The hostel is quite far from the city center and bus terminal (but Uber works in Ciudad del Este, in case you have internet and don’t want to walk and/or take a regular taxi) -Electric showers: often hassle (but see above) and be careful (cause they can burn or shock you), but of common practice in Paraguay, so get used to it☺️

I stayed in one of the private rooms upstairs which had: -Comfortable bed -Fan and water cooker in the room -Descent bathroom with electric shower (which could stay cold or get burning hot, but ask the owners for help in that case, they can change the temperature) -WiFi worked well -The hostel is in a very quiet neighborhood, but I felt safe to walk around there alone as well as to the city center and back (even at night) -A couple of restaurants nearby

The water from the shower was burning and it was not possible to adjust it so I had to shower with cold water. It's pretty basic but I guess for the price it's good value

The hostel is a bit away from the center. On the one hand it is a plus since the neighborhood is quiet, on the other hand, you have to walk a long time to go anywhere. The facilities have seen better days.

Everything is clean and the common areas are nice, despite literally being a parking lot. The hummingbird feeders are a nice touch, although I didn't see any hummingbird on the day I was there.
