Gluten free table would have been nice in restaurant instead of having to look for staff. The steps and hill up to it were tough but not hotel fault. Maybe more details in room of courtesy bus as didnt realise till last day. Air con didnt seem to work great and sofa bed not suitable or comfy for two tall 16 year olds

The best balcony ever! Lovely clean, peaceful and facilities excellent. Nice restaurant with some gluten free options. Pool area lovely if you could get there before the towels were down.

Poor room on arrival. Dirty lights, barbed wire on balcony! Rubbish in garden. Asked for high floor got ground. In far off annexe block not Atlantico which we had booked. Changed us to correct Atlantic 2nd time of asking.

We stayed in the apartments which is across the road from the main Spa hotel- help with luggage or a luggage trolley and showing us to our room would have been helpful. Other than that a great hotel with great facilities.

The Beds in the complex are very hard and prove a challenge to my wife who has back problems and struggles to sleep comfortably. The roads around the Hotel caused significant issues during our stay as many of the UBER drivers where unaware of the street closures and the signage was very poor. The road situation was out with the Hotels control but they should put pressure on the roads maintenance teams to complete the work and improver the signage.

The Room in the Gardens complex was excellent and ideally placed away from the general noise but still accessible. The staff where very helpful and coped well with all our requests.

Unfortunately some of the other guests staying didn't seem to give any thought or care anyone else around the pool. Loud, pushing each other in, roaring from their balconies ( their language was pretty rough) blasting music loudly. Wasn't easy to relax in the sun at all. No one came to ask them just to be a little quieter. Which I couldn't understand, as they were families with small children at the pool too! Also the man ( older guy, bald head) at the front desk during the night could do with some classes on basic customer service. He is simply rude to say the least. And not in anyway helpful, was so grumpy when I asked if there was a vending machine with water in the lobby. Same on another day when ordering a taxi, early in the morning (7.30am). No manners, simply rude! He should not be the face people are greeted with.

Location is fantastic, steps didn't bother us at! Everything was kept lovely and clean.

I think for the quality of this hotel they should upgrade the quality of the mattresses. For a two week stay, the mattresses were not very comfortable.

The facilities were very nice, completely stocked apartment with utensils and dishes and pots. small washing machine and dishwasher. Close to old town and beach. Lovely pools. Good restaurant.

Slow service at the bar. Had to pay extra to rent tennis rackets. Bowling and squash were closed.

The mattresses require upgrading . They appear to be old and worn out. They were extremely firm. Unbelievable to think there is no recycling program. We stayed at three locations in Portugal with the other two having recycling programs. You depend on the beach as an attraction. Let’s do a better job recycling . It may assist with the larger picture of keeping our oceans clean.

Very good location. Only a few minutes walk to the old town. Apartment was cleaned daily. We had a lovely view in apartment 204. Would highly recommend downloading the Bolt app. It’s similar to Uber and very cheap to get a taxi back to the apartment.
