Animals were so noisy during the night, mostly frog and roosters. It wasnt a pleasant night sleep

You have to find your way from the ferry terminal. Guest pickup service would have been great. Roosters all around the property and you soon will get used to its sound all through out the day. Except for early morning natural alarms.

Wonderful host. Rooms were all good. Kitchen was stocked with basics. Wifi connectivity was great. I took a unit with 2 rooms which both had bathrooms. both rooms had split-AC's and silent. Fans as well. The toilets were well stocked with toiletries. Best location and walking distance to the beach and all restaurants and tour operators. Host also offered complimentary beach chairs and luggage stowaway on the day of checkout.

Loud cacophony of crowing chickens (many walking wild all over town) all day and night. Property also neighbors on a property that keeps caged ducks. Highly recommend ear plugs to have a good sleep.

Location was easy walking distance to the beachfront where restaurants and activities were located. Host was friendly and helpful. Comfortable room. Amenities were good.

There were very loud chickens next-door. However, you have to expect that on an island. I would not say that that was anything that they could prevent. It was part of the island experience.

The location was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and went beyond our expectations to help us navigate the taxi system and gave suggestions on the best place for food. We really enjoyed the pool area which was cozy and comfortable.

Everything was great except for the loud chickens so bring ear plugs.

Great location - near the restaurants, shops, market, beach. Everything was walking distance. It was clean, tidy and comfortable place. We also enjoyed chatting with the hosts and how island life was like. Thank you!

The rooster started to sing too early in the morning but I guess people can do nothing about it.

Excellent location. Decorated tastefully. Love the little garden. We are lucky as the owner let us check in early when the room is available.

The outdoor space is nice, but the smell (because of the hens) is not the best. However, it is a beautiful place to stay

The location is perfect. You can walk to the downtown of Esperanza (full of bars and restaurants). Our room, “Gem”, was very nice and clean. The decoration is beautiful and welcoming, feels like home. The owners were GREAT! they gave us amazing recommendations and tips to explore the island. The place also provides beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bodyboards… it was a really good experience. I would definitely repeat if I visit Vieques again

Skip can be a little bristly, but he’s a good guy. For some customers that might not be the best fit. Family villas could use some updating.

Had units that could fit families with multiple kids. Close to Bio Bay tours. The host, Skip, allowed us to hang out at the pool after checkout. Beds were comfortable and the linens, while older, were high quality and clean.

Great location with easy access to beaches, restaurants and all the tours! Parking onsite and access to beach accessories like boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Super easy check in process!

The location was so close to everything, and our host was so nice! He gave us excellent recommendations for food; we even ran into him out and about later on in the night and he stopped to chat with us and gave us a few more ideas of places to go. We also arrived early and he allowed us to store our bags until our room was ready so we could explore the island more. Thank you Skip!

Wanted to enjoy the pool area but there were ants crawling all over the seat cushions and leaves in the pool.

Owner was very friendly and welcoming, allowed us to check in early to get out of the heat. Room was clean and spacious. Location was also a huge plus, only a short walk to many restaurants and activities.

The grounds themselves needed some tlc. There were odds and ends just lying around in a little pile here and there.. I know it would take some sweat equity, but I really think it would step up the impression to excellent.

Overall we liked the Guesthouse. Great location, kids enjoyed the pool. There are plenty of shaded areas to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again.

Skip is a wonderful host. He was very accommodating. One of the highlights of the stay was enjoying the fresh mangos and star fruit that Skip generously picked out of his trees and shared with us. Skip also has a bunch of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers that we could take to the beach with us.

The lighting in the room is dark. I would have liked more lighting, at least in the kitchen area.

Some of the insect covers on the windows had holes in them so they didnt do much. Luckely there was barly any insects :)

It was a very cute hotell with a lovely vibe and even niver staff. Very helpfull and friendly at all times. Also there were mango trees in the hotell garden and one can eat as many as one wants!
