We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe furnishings and the rooms were pretty beat up but hey, it is a castle. Nice gift shop. The setting was rural and so nice to hear birds after days in cities.
The breakfast was in the original castle and very beautiful. The breakfast offering was expansive.

PolandI'm gonna be picky here, but I didn't like the overpowering smell of a canteen (not the kitchen; it was like the smell of a canteen, years of cooking and smoking, hard to describe) in the main hall and staircase. The room had no slippers (they could be taken from the reception, though). The parking was at an extra fee. I think, taking the remote location of the castle and the fact that the parking was external to the main castle, it should be free. The halls and rooms felt a little dated. Unfortunately, I think the whole castle could use some paint and the carpets vacuuming.
The whole ambience and atmosphere were magical. Christmas decorations, illuminations, and gentle music were still playing when we entered the courtyard. The breakfast was plenty and so tasty. The same goes for dinner a la carte, which was also quite tasty. The rooms where the restaurant was were beautiful. We decided to tour the castle in the morning, and I think it was ok, it could be better though. The guide was new, and she didn't know that much and also we weren't shown many rooms, which I thought we would. Still, it was good to have a walk around. We also went horse riding in the forest. Very nice activity and a really nice lead.

Breakfast has excellent choices. Facility is pretty, especially the courtyard. Room was warm and beds were comfortable. Bathroom and towels were clean. I always enjoy staying here.

NetherlandsThe food in restaurant was good, but for some reason or other we felt that the whole setting could be made to feel a bit more welcoming. It was past its sell by date, but what do you expect in a castle.
The hotel had a great setting and was a welcome change from normal hotels. Nice weather to be able to sit outside and have a drink. Rooms were a bit dark but fine, great shower.

EstoniaWell, lot's of squeaky floors and doors....but it's an old castle so it's kinda expected. Some staff members were a bit awkward (not bad or impolite, just a bit awkward :D). They close bars at the hotel at 22.00 and that's it, nothing nearby as well....be prepared if that's important to you. Toilet paper was bad quality
Location and the castle are very picturesque, rooms were nice and spacious (nothing spectacular but nice). You feel immersed in deep history of the place. Plenty to do if you like to walk around in nice places. Breakfast was just heavenly, both quantity and quality wise.

GermanyThe housekeeping for our apartment was not good. We stayed 3 nights and the second morning we left the room at 9:30 with the please clean room sign on the door. we came back to the room at 19:00 and the sign was still on the door and no one had come. we didn’t have fresh towels or any toilet paper. The floor was not cleaned our entire stay.
Beautiful property with friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is wonderful with many choices. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. I had a facial at the spa that was amazing.

Germany- Very little sound proofing. - Bathroom was tired and utilitarian (I think other rooms might have been renovated). Ridiculous hair dryer. - no lockers in the swimming pool changing area. - too many cold white light bulbs used. It gave our room and the restaurant a nasty, harsh light - two single beds, like it's still the 1940s
