Really hard beds and flat pillows. WiFi came and went which isn’t great for remote work. The room was very hot with no way to control temps.

Great central location close to Old Town. The price is great.

I have stayed in this hostel before and am hoping to come here again. It is a perfect place for those who want to explore Gdansk for a few days and need to take a train or a bus early in the morning.

The air in the room can get a bit stuffy and the pipes in the bathroom can make funny noises at times. If you are on a vacation this might slightly undermine the charm. However, if you are spending just a few days in Gdansk and need to catch an early train/bus from Gdańsk Główny you won't find a better option.

It is not my first time staying in this hostel. It is a good value for money: the hostel is equally close to the train and bus stations and downtown Gdansk, the neighborhood is relatively quiet and the staff really friendly. I personally like the joint kitchen where you can grab a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of water whenever you feel like it.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was quite warm, but I turned on the batteries at night anyway. The staff was very friendly. It was quiet at night.

Noisy guests some of whom were running up and down knocking on doors in the middle of the night. Room wasn’t cleaned at all. All I needed was bin emptying. Room was otherwise comfortable and clean.

The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbours,but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. In the night time it was quiet.

Hostel Filip has a great location and it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the old town. Our room was very clean and staff was so helpful, friendly and kind.

Communication with clients. I have arrived at 9 pm, and I have informed in advance about late arrival (reception is open till 10 pm). However the door was closed and it took time to find someone to let me inn. It would be great if you can add a WhatsApp number for faster exchange with messages and calls. Thank you

The hostel is situated very close to the main train station, it’s clean snd quiet. A kitchen is equipped well.

The bed was a trifle small.

Location and value for money were both excellent. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and comfortable using English. A lot of hot water in the shower was welcome.

Bathroom was tiny! Beds had soft mattresees yet wooden (hard) frames. Not quiet at nights - sporadic loud noises.

The walls are quite thin, so if you are quite sensitive to noise, it makes it a bit hard to get a good night sleep. Since different people are coming back to their rooms at various times, I could hear all the doors being opened and closed, people talking, taking shower throughout the night. Earplugs are highly recommended - I believe it's something that will improve the situation instantly :)

The staff were great, the room was clean, the bed was comfy. The location was great - only a short walk to the historic centre and all the coffee shops/restaurants. Shopping mall nearby. The kitchen is well equipped, if you want to warm up or make your own meals.

Very welcoming and friendly hostel, well more of a hotel really. I had my own room with en suite and I found it to be everything you'd expect from a smart hotel. No kettle in the room, but free access to a communal kitchen with everything you might need.

strange smell in the corridor and the room. Probably some moisture / air ventilation issue since the room was in the cellar But for the money I paid and taking the excellent location into mind it was still tolerable

Wifi in the room was spotty and not suitable for onward bookings. But signal was ok in the lobby or pantry.
