That there was construction happening on the floor I was on. Also, laundry left outside the door wasn't picked up on time to make the day's laundry service.

Excellent dining. Also the hotel's proximity and easy access to the Port Moresby's main shopping mall. Love the comfortable bed and soft linen.

I ordered IRD for breakfast but what came what not what was written in the menu. Some items were missing. I had poached egg that was supposed to have avocado on sour dough bread. Avocado was missing.

Buffet was great with the variety of fruits and vegetables. Bottomless coffee is a good deal. Omelette was nice though the chef was grumpy.

Looove the pool, love that it's connected to Vision City shopping mall, love the fact that there are several shops on ground level include a big dining area, love the piano and love the space, love the gym, love the pool bar, love the room with its study table. Staff have great service.

Breakfast was included but there was confusion on where we were to go to have buffet. We thought it was ground floor. Asked staff at door and she said we had to pay. Later we found out she should have said the breakfast included is upstairs. But just ushered us in, with us unaware there was a second buffet We ended up paying which was not supposed to happen and when checking out and querying, were told that our included breakfast was upstairs so we spent over 175K on a plate of bacon and eggs and some Pancakes fruit and 2 coffees and a tea. Left a bit disappointed.

Highlight was the silver leaf restaurant. Staff friendly and price was great for the quality of hotel.

Pool bar/cafe wasn't open one of the days I was at the hotel.

Beautiful rooftop pool with an excellent view. All the staff were super helpful and polite.

Called the operator at around 7-8pm and no one answered my call. I needed room service and the line seemed busy the entire time I tried to get through. Ended up walking across to VC to grab dinner which I didn't like because by then I was already exhausted and needed only to place an order. Please also look into having the hotel directory for actual number extensions as the speed dials on the phone didn't seem to even ring. It's exhausting to come back from an outing, hungry and you can't order food because the extensions aren't being answered, and have to end up walking again just for food. Didn't bother fronting the reception to check because The Stanley is a big hotel and I didn't want to exhaust myself more walking back and forth because someone wasn't minding their station. Very disappointed that we almost had the best weekend.

Check in was very good. Friendly, professional customer service from the gentlemen that checked us in. The pool never disappoints! The only reason why my kids love the Stanley.

Monsoon shower switch kept resetting, should change to selector arm switch not a pressure clip. Be nice to have a coffee nespresso machine in the room?

Location is great, close to vision city and the office, no need for transport. Pick up and drop off at airport was seamless. Facilities first class.

Besides the pool area, there is not much space for recreation.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and had the necessity for comfort. And there was easy access to the VC mall.
