Owners not very friendly nor accommodating ( every request was refused, even just a couple of glasses for our drinks). Dorm gets really hot during the day, however was ok at night in October. No fridge or cooking facilities for dorm guests. Tap water apparently not drinkable. Dorm floor moves and creaks so beds move every time someone gets passed. Bathroom facilities for dorm are very basic and old. ( nothing to hold shower head, toilets often don’t flush properly, nowhere to hang or put towel and clothes (only on toilet seat!). No soap or hand towel even for basin. Locking system a bit broken as well. Rats near restaurant area.

Quiet relaxing spot by the sea. Cute pontoon. Good place to meet other travellers. Breakfast was nice.

Everything was acceptable, but if I need to find issues with the 19-bed dorm, it was the few fans they had available. There were 4-5 fans for the entire place. Luckily, we there were only 8 guests when I stayed. Some guests said the mattresses were thin, but I had no problems wtih them. The fans were dusty and rusty. The bathrooms had spider webs in the ceilings. There was no hand soap, so I left a bar of soap in the bathroom. I heard arguing due to the owners strict policy of paying right away after consuming food at his restaurant. They have a rule that you cannot eat at the restaurant tables, so the only place to eat is on the dock's picnic table. There were no refrigerator or freezer for your own food. There were no lockers to store your belongings, but apparently it's safe here. Of all these things, probably the only thing I didn't like was the street traffic outside at night. I would return again since I hope these things will be improved the next time I come.

I liked the view each morning as I looked over the lagoon. It has a dock to enter the water for swimming & snorkeling. I liked the fans in the room to ward off the mosquitos. Price was advertised at XPF 3060 cash or credit ($27). Breakfast was included for dorm guests (baguette, jam, butter, coffee or hot chocolate, pineapple, papaya, and choice of fruit juice). I slept comfortably at night and no mosquitos bit me. The showers have hot water. One shower has a place holder while the other one, you need to hold it while taking a shower.

If staying in the upstairs dorm, you will find low ceilings and two very dirty bathrooms to accommodate up to 15 guests. (I hear the 4 person cottages are the way to go here, but they were unavailable during my days of stay). Not enough electrical outlets for all the people. The owner has not put any money into fixing dorm light fixtures or in cleaning of the room fans or bathrooms. It just shows a lack of basic care that should be an embarrassment to any hotelier.

The dormitory room has some open walls, thus you can hear everything that is going on nearby. With earplugs we slept really good and even appreciated the fresh after-rain air, but it could be problematic for a light sleeper.

We booked places in the dormitory room, which was very simple, but good. Beds were clean, bathroom was really old and sometimes smelled a little, but otherwise it was also clean. Dinner in the restaurant was really good, for a reasonable price. Breakfast is simple, but we were happy with it before the morning flight. + kudos for having Hinano beer on tap

The location is close to many activities and the host gives good recommendations and is very accommodating. Great sea view at breakfast and sunset.Lovely garden also .

Bathrooms not in the best of condition.

Very simple and right on the water. We felt if was a great value. If you only like fancy hotels this isn’t for you, if you enjoy camping and staying in cabins these are perfect. No AC and bathrooms not in great condition but we really enjoyed the stay.

Bathroom was not that clean. The main reception lady is rude and unhelpful. Reception is only opened for a few hours in the morning and the evening. I understand the staff wanting to have a break in between however we had an issue where we had forgotten a few things we needed in the dive shop. We tried to use our phone to call the dive shop but were unable to. I went to ask if we could use their phone , it was about 3pm. Solange was watching tv. She ignored me. I tried to explain what my issue was but without even turning around talk to me she continued to lay in her bed watching the tv and said the reception would reopen at 6pm which was too late to contact the dive shop. This could have been any more urgent issue and she still would have ignored me as she didn’t even want to listen. It was bizarre! A shame as the property has great potential. There is a small Jetty which could be gorgeous but it needs a huge repair job. Wifi was very good. Didn’t try the food but the onsite restaurant seemed nice.

Location by lagoon, the main room in the bungalow was nice and it was lovely to see the water from the bed.

The staff was slightly rude when we asked for a spoon and they declined, which we felt ridiculous when you are staying in the accomodation for 5 days. There were not many ammenities besides a mini fridge. The light inside the cabines is definitely not enough. In general some small repairs could be done. These are all minor things for the value in general

As everyone mention on the comments the location is amazing. You can see plenty of fish and we even saw sting rays from the shore. You can also snorkel and use the kayak for free. One of the best beds I've slept in.

one of the staff wasn’t the most friendly but the 2 ladies were, it doesn’t have a safe/locker to keep you valuables in, it is very simple which I was happy with but if you are more high maintenance it’s probably not for you

the location is lovely, it has a jetty that goes out into the lagoon that you can snorkel and swim off, the breakfast that was included in the price was really nice

they don’t provide mosquito nets. luckily I had my own but if you don’t you will be bitten a lot.

the location is AMAZING. you are right on the waterfront with a pontoon that goes out into the water that you can go snorkelling from. The breakfast is included in the price and lovely and plentiful (papaya, pineapple, avocado, baguette, jam, butter, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, and a juice).

Restaurant should be open longer actually it's not a restaurant but a place to order dinner. Pizza was great and the beer price was reasonable. Enjoyed swimming with sharks. Don't worry it's black tipped shark.

Location is great our bungalow was beachfront and we just loved the view while enjoying our drinks on the porch. Recommend to rent a scooter or a car. Super market 8 minutes by scooter. Beautiful beach 1.9 km from the pension.

Our room didnt feel very secure. One of the windows didnt close shut and I thought we would have a safety deposit box but we didnt. The shower needs some TLC - the shower head holder was broken, so you had to hold the head when showering. There wasnt much in the area, no nearby grocery shop, and not many food options.

The beach front rooms are pretty special - great value for money! We worried about not having air con, but there was a lovely breeze coming through the apartment at night time, was even a bit cold one night! The food at the restaurant was pretty good, the staff were helpful, and the wifi was really good in our room.

Restaurant is closed in the afternoon, kinda siesta time Bathrooms should be much cleaner. The place has a great potential but some renovation would be needed.

Good location, right on the beach. Breakfast is good portion which was included. Dormitory room was super spacious. The lady serving breakfast was really kind and the one at reception was ready to help with advices regarding tours and restaurant ideas.
