the restaurant was closed both nights I was there. Had to go and eat somewhere else. That restaurant was close but it was dangerous to get there and back - walking in the dark with no street lights on the side of a busy country road with no footpath. Not pleasant. The hotel gates are locked after 6.30. Good for security but there are no staff on duty. Everything closed up. No Bar, no snacks in the evening.

Lot of mosquitoes in the room and no DDT spray availableat the property. Tim tried to find us some incent to get rid off mosquitoes. Pictures on the ad were taken long time ago. No bikes forguests. Almost $30 ride from Ferry. The host is not helpful on tours/rental information. Luckiky we found the tourist info next door at the cooks hotel. No coffee pot and no microwave in the room. Coffee is $6 per cup and $33 for breakfast. No dinner served in the restaurant. Refrigerator is not work well. At least Tim is very nice.

Tim is trying his best to service us. The lady host is ok but not really helpful.

Wish the room would have had amenities for making coffee or tea in the room. Wish they would have had options for a smaller/less expensive breakfast.

Snorkeling directly from the beach was exceptional- saw many species of fish, sea turtle and stingray. Room was clean, cozy and private with comfortable chairs on the porch for enjoying the beautiful view. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Some of the pricing is quite hefty, especially for a breakfast but we noticed this across everything in Tahiti. Having bikes would be a great addition to staying at Kaveka. Just to be able to bike down to the shop to buy bread for breakfast. It was too hot sometimes to do that.

loved the restaurant over the water and the jetty. WE enjoyed diving off the jetty and swimming. We loved our little faro on the beach also. And the raw fish salad and the chicken dish were our favourites at the restaurant.

Weak WiFi signal. The housekeeping is definitely not the best, the room was poorly cleaned after our request and We even had an argument with the housekeeper who assumed we had taken the hair dryer just because it was not in the room and we had requested it.

It’s near the super market and the tour agency as well as the port of departure for the tours. Very nice view of the mountains and in general the staff is very nice.

When we arrived, we were given a modern studio outside of the property, beside a construction site, with no view. The bungalow we had reserved was listed in the traditional style with garden view. We had to argue for a change of room with the receptionist who relayed the manager’s several offers. The manager himself would not speak with us. In the end, we received a very nice bungalow with water view.

quite, clean, and location is great (if you have a rental car). it has a little private beach where you can relax and do snorkeling (while the water isn’t as clear as those touristic snorkeling spots, but I do see many many beautiful fish here). staff is welcoming in general.

No pool. Beach area is very small. No coffee facilities in room. Bungalows with king bed probably ok for space but with king plus twin bed you dan barely move around. Breakfast buffet just ok at best.

The views of the bay and mountains from the hotel's pier is amazing. Dinner at restaurant was good.

There was hardly any working wifi at all and there wasn't a pool. Though the venue walked right onto the beach, it's always nice to have a pool, especially at night.

The ambience, location, cute individual huts, pier, and being located right on the beach were a plus.

The advertised breakfast included with our room was merely bread, coffee and juice.The full breakfast that includes meats, cheeses and an omlette was very expensive. The restaurant food could have been better. Steak was a poor cut, chicken was grisly and the meals were expensive for what you got. But. . . you can't beat the view and the bungalows were charming.

Great location. Beautiful beach and scenery. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was excellent. They offered laundry services and were very accommodating.
