I complained in reception at 10:30pm that the tv in the room did not work. A technician never came. Elevator at our building didn't work and was never fixed. At check-in you should be presented with the option to reaerve a la carte dinner. Also there should be a variation of snacks and not only hamburgers and tacos all the time.

Food is improved from previous visits. Watersplash/toboganes is a new construction very apreciated.

We arrived and there was a major fire in one of the hotel rooms. Naturally our room smelled like smoke. There were no towels in the room when we got there and there were also parts of the room that weren’t clean. There was no patio furniture on the balcony area. The activities were in Spanish only.

Our accomodations were in the Town Center tower instead of the resort so it was a bit of a walk to the pools, beach and buffet.

This resort would be particularly great for families. There's a pool with some good sized slides and another large pool with a swim up bar near the beach. The buffet was very good with a nice selection of food. They have a snack bar running during the hours the buffet is closed with burgers and nachos. The staff were very efficient and there was lots of them.

I didn't receive the room I had reserved and paid for. Despite specifying a king bed with a pool view and paying extra to ensure this, I was given a room with double full beds and a view of the parking lots. When I sought a resolution, they mentioned no guarantee but promised to check, and unfortunately, I never received a solution. The check-in and checkout experiences could be improved as they took too much time and felt disorganized.

The cuisine was enjoyable, albeit limited in options. The select choices available are of high quality. In the bars, the bartender impressively memorized customers' drink preferences, providing a personalized touch, especially at the disco.

Cleanliness, it’s an old property with poor maintenance, initially we were assigned the wrong type of room and I had to go to the front desk the following day at to ask for a change, I was not given realistic options to compensate for the error, however the person that resolved the issue showed concerned and took action. The staff is friendly but there’s a sense that you have to tip. The initial room we were assigned was in a very poor condition and dirty. Also, it was close to the hotel disco and we had a bad first night. The hotel needs URGENT maintenance, even our bed in the second type (higher cost) room was about to break and the sofa had to be covered with a bed sheet because it was torn and the foam was visible.

The location, the staff is very friendly, the salt water lagoon option. The town center rooms location and peace. Food was good and abundant. The different restaurants (by reservation) were also good. The open bar is ok.

With someone with no spanish skills it was very hard for me to figure out when activities were happening and where. Meal items should have been in spanish and english, had no idea what some of the dishes were.

The pictures are definitely dated and probably taken when they first opened but it did the job. We mainly used the rooms to sleep in and keep our stuff in and hung out outside by the pool and beach all day. The rooms on the top floor are definitely hotter throughout the day and the ac never got cool, just barely not too hot.

Very family friendly and slides for the kids. Close to the beach. The buffets are simple and were decent for the price we paid (eggs, bread, fruit and juices). They had snacks when it wasn't meal hours (nachos, fruit). And unlimited drinks and beer..no wine though. The staff was also super responsive on WhatsApp to any inquiries we sent.
