Breakfast was average (didn't taste fresh). Rooms are outdated, but everything is functional and clean.

It’s location is near to offices and Mutrah Cornish, with reasonable prices but its rooms were almost full there are two bus stops nearby and taxi is only 1 rial from Ruwwi to the hotel reception also helped us for Iranian car rental A pool outside of hotel good for resting

Around 15 to 20min walk to old market, also a bit of ascend on the way back - not a problem for us, but one should note..

Great view from the window as the hotel is on the hill. The room and bathroom are large, the bed is comfortable. A big indian supermarket is nearby.

The cups in the room were too small for a decent cup of teea and only 3 teabags were supplied and no milk.

We arrived in the middle of the night and the reception was manned 24hrs. The breakfast was a nice buffet and nice Omani coffee was available. The location was close to the old centre of Muskat, away from the airport, and it was easy to drive into the old part of Muskat where the main tourist attractions are located. The nearest ATM was also very close, 2 min drive.

Given it is budget option the bed linen is old, with thin sheets with a few marks and the pillows starting to get lumpy. The corners of the rooms and high touch surfaces like around the light switches a bit dirty and marked etc but still reasonably pleasant and clean for a budget option of this price with good central location in Muscat.

One of the few budget options in downtown Muscat area in a central location between Mutrah (souk 15 minute walk) and Mutrah (central bus station 30 minute walk). Set back off main road to keep down traffic noise. Has a pool which is bonus for a budget option

Woke up to the strong smell of gas in the middle of the night. My friends in the room across the corridor reported the same thing. There was a large family staying in a room (there should be a limit on how many people can do that) and they were letting their children run, scream, and throw balls off the wall throughout the floor. I had one of those, "you get what you pay for" moments.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Beds were comfortable. Hot water worked. AC worked. Wifi was good.

We didn't end up walking into the old town, it would have probably taken 40 minutes (not 5 like the guy at the hotel said). There is a very strong fragrance smell in the lobby. The room itself was not very clean, but the beds were spotless and comfortable.

Hotel was convenient to the old town of Muscat. It was also near the Lulu Hypermarket. There is a nice pool area outside, but sadly we didn't have time to use it. Free parking.
