I was told move bed myself due to shortage of staff, I checked in late at night as my visit was family emergency visit as my ant passed away in sneek was told to pay for check out. I wanted euro plug hotel didn’t had it but they wanted to sell me . No customer service just sell and they wanted me to extra for everything.

NetherlandsNot exactly cheap. The shower and bath faucets are on / off button controlled and only temperature is adjustable, its sufficient but I would prefer adjustable.
I went for the luxury room which was really impressive. I had an excellent stay. Did not use any facilities as I had little time to enjoy the hotel. The bed was excellent. The late checkout was very reasonably priced and time to check out was quite a bit later than one would normally expect. I booked with breakfast included which I heard was great but skipped breakfast, the breakfast was deducted from the bill without any issues.

We were travelling through Europe working, and Sneek was our penultimate stop. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb and competitively priced. Service was great and all the staff were lovely, warm, welcoming and friendly. I would happily recommend the Van der Valk Hotel to anybody.

United KingdomThe carpets could have been a bit cleaner in the room, but it wasn't too bad. And it would've been nice to know about the construction on the parking side of the hotel - we might've paid more for the other side instead.
The room was very large, and the staff were super friendly. Booking.com doesn't recognise a baby as a baby - if you try to add one to the room, it only allows you to add an extra room. So we excluded the baby. When we arrived at the hotel, the price was more than Booking.com said, and we were told this was because of our 11-month-old daughter. We'd brought our own travel cot, though, and so the next morning the manager refunded the extra bit. He was super nice about it, and then he gave our daughter one of the logo stuffed animals.
