Everything was great. I found a spider. I don’t think it was the boat crews fault. It was very well hidden. I captured it and removed it from the boat. Didn’t see a single spider for the rest of the 4 days.

I was nervous at first as I had never stayed on a boat and am used to nice hotels… I am so glad I did once I was there. The boat is situated in front of the city center and some really nice restaurants in back. It’s extremely clean (also rooms cleaned daily). The people running the boat are extremely friendly and aren’t all over you which I appreciated. Breakfast in the morning is catered.. really good food no continental crap. And it’s free buffet style. If I go back to Amsterdam which I plan to in the winter time.. I will definitely do this boat again. They also have a 24/7 bar with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks at very reasonable/cheap prices. Water bottles included

Everything was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming, structure is perfectly tidy and clean. Rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is „made with love“. The kids loved it as well. If we go back to Amsterdam, we will go back to this place.

Breakfast could begin a touch earlier in the mornings. I had booked some early ticket times at museums across the city and had to rush to arrive on time.

Clean, neat, comfortable, well-located boat hotel ten minutes from Amsterdam Central Station. A unique experience supported by a friendly staff and offering lovely views over the harbor. Very good breakfast every morning. Cozy rooms and nice lounge areas.

Would have liked a chair in the room but realise space was limited

Great lounge and free tea/coffee etc, biscuits and fruit. No TV in room. Plenty of storage space in room. Great service from friendly owners and staff. Close to city centre.

The Boat was great, the staff ace, and the location spot on. Being so centrally located and under a 10min walk from Central station meant it was easy to get from the airport and to visit the city attractions on foot. The boat itself and the staff was really good. We'll come back to Amsterdam, and will stay on Hotelboat Iris again if possible.

One of a kind experience to stay in a hotelboat close to the main station. It was clean, well designed and cozy. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Staffs are very friendly which makes the stay even better.

When you book a boat hotel, you know what to expect in terms of room size and bathroom. Comfortable but cosy.

Really good breakfast spread, from bread, croissant, cereals, eggs, bacon, fruit... all you could wish for. Even provided oat milk.

We loved the uniqueness of being on a boat instead of an apartment or hotel. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious.

The location, while lovely on the water and with its own special benefits, was a bit out of the way if you're used to (or want to stay in) central locations. I didn't love our window onto the dock. It felt claustrophobic to have to keep the curtains pulled all the time for privacy reasons. However, I could see out the windows in the rooms on the other side of the hallways, rooms with windows onto the water way, and I know I would book this accommodation again in a heartbeat if I could be assured a window that looks out onto the open water.

Staff was lovely, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was a nice inclusion. Complementary hot drinks (including hot chocolate for children, and adults who don't enjoy coffee), cookies, and a variety of fruit were appreciated. And, it's a hotelboat -- how great is that?! The common area was really nice and welcoming. This is one of the few occasions where I spent time in the common area of a hotel. It was relaxing and had lovely views.
